What’s the matter with Kathy (Jordan Trovillion, Highland Park)? She’s your typical 17 year-old girl in search of something more in her life. It seems the only place she is going to find it is at Horse Camp. Her father Luke (Dean Cain, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) recognizes that she’s got it in her blood, a sensibility in her being - she understands horses just as much as they understand her. But at Horse Camp there is much more to learn, not only about horses, but about people and the many challenges of friendship.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

My daughter is totally horse crazy and watches every horse movie she can find. This one had better writing and acting than a lot of the others, but it had its issues. The music was seriously irritating. The main character started out likable, but then she got rid of her glasses and started wearing makeup, which suddenly made her beautiful. It was rather irritating that she wasn't considered beautiful before that. Being beautiful also turned her into a mean girl. But at least the acting wasn't completely awful.

I thought this was a good movie for all the family. It seems like this movie is aimed for young girls but I know that boys and the parents will also like it. The only bad part was that the music they played was so annoying. And they seemed to use the music a lot. It was great to see Jordan Trovillion in a staring role. I personally hope to see her go far in the movie industry she deserves it. And I think it was cool seeing a star like Dean Cain be the dad in the movie when I just seem to think of him as Superman (like I think most people do). So the bottom line is I think this would be a great movie to have the family watch for family movie night.
