Absolutely the worst movie.
The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
All in all, this was my favorite short film of the Twilight Storytellers series. They captured the essence of Jane and Alec's "pre-transformation" life perfectly, showing exactly how misunderstood the twins were. It was dark, yet beautiful. For me, it really allowed me to look at the history of witch trials in a different light. Not to mention, the casting was phenomenal. Alec was fun and playful and Jane was innocent yet broken. Jane's transition from innocent to dark occurred flawlessly in a matter of seconds. Jane's mother was also just as protective as I had always imagined she'd be. Aro on the other hand was beyond perfect. He portrayed the crazy/creepy character that we all grew to love in the original saga without error. As an avid twihard, I couldn't have been more happy with the way this film came out. It was artfully done and lived up to all of my expectations. This will definitely be a film that I'll never forget.
