Reclusive local witch Helena Pottsworth (Paige Richards) can no longer contain her surging lesbian desires, and this puritanical, post-colonial town is about to fight a revolution of the sensual kind. True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

The third in Seduction Cinema's epic trilogy of lesbian seduction is much the same as most of Seduction's output: an ultra-cheap, shot-on-video travesty with no story but plenty of lesbian fondling to make up for it. Probably half of the film's footage consists of naked, silicon-enhanced babes kissing and rubbing each other's bodies, footage which eventually becomes tiresome when every such encounter is staged in exactly the same way. In between such adult activities, the film goes for a comedic approach, with the emphasis on smutty double entendres and some outrageous over-acting, especially from the guy who plays the town's mayor. The budget is incredibly low, with lots of filming in the woods to keep it cheap; even a guy in a gorilla costume turns up at one point although I'm not sure why, although such silly antics pleasingly recall the Monogram cheapies of the 1940s - cinema obviously hasn't progressed much since then. The story of this prequel is that the Erotic Witch - Paige Richards, barely dressed as a dominatrix, in a shiny purple cape - curses a village full of townsfolk until the mayor eventually drives her into the woods, where her "evil" influence spread in the first and second parts of this epic. Her "curse" consists of her seducing every woman she comes in contact with, whether it be the town librarian, the mayor's wife, or some sweet girls washing in the woods. The framework of the tale consists of a diary, discovered with a human corpse in the present day, which even causes the reader to lose her inhibitions. The acting is generally appalling, with a number of actors and actresses taking on multiple roles AND also acting as crew members. The notable exception is John Fedele, who gives some hilarious performances as the caricatured sheriff and reverend - indeed his religious sermon is one of the funnest moments in the film.Seduction Cinema fans will spot stars Misty Mundae and Darian Caine in fairly prominent roles, as well as scream queen Debbie Rochon who makes a small but pleasing appearance. Otherwise, this slice of softcore smut will appeal only to the dirty mac brigade with the endless lesbian gropings and simulated sex. Fans looking for a BLAIR WITCH spoof will be better off checking out the first instalment of this series, as the only docu-style moment here occurs at the very beginning, with a randy couple in the woods encountering a plastic skeleton in hilarious, cheesy fashion.

You can't go into a film like Witchbabe: The Erotic Witch Project 3 expecting great things; but I was at least assured of seeing something a lot better than the film that this one was based on; and indeed it is at least that. This is actually the third part in Seduction Cinema's "Witchbabe" series, and it's also the only one I've seen...but I'm guessing that all three parts pretty much stand alone as there can only be so much back-story to a bunch of lesbian sex scenes. Anyway, this film is consistently hilarious and features some hot babes having sex with each other. You can't really ask for much more than that! The plot, or should I say loosely strewn together excuse for a load of lesbian sex focuses on a young woman flipping through a diary detailing the events in an American town around the time that a witch, dubbed 'The Erotic Witch' and named Helena came out of the woods and began seducing all the towns women with her 'healing' and 'spiritual' methods. The town's mayor, a man named Rudolf, is not too happy with the situation. The plot basically consists of a lesbian sex scene, some talking, another lesbian sex scene, more talking etc. Naturally most people will be tuning in for the lesbian sex; but surprisingly enough, the filler scenes are actually really funny and at times had me in stitches. John Paul Fedele's mayor character is irritating; but he has some good lines, and a scene involving a reverend giving a sermon is brilliant. The film benefits from a very capable cast, which includes the likes of Paige Richards, Darian Caine, Misty Mundae and Julian Wells; who all take their clothes off on numerous occasions and are only too happy to get it on with each other. The sex scenes are actually quite good; it's only soft-core so they don't do much aside from get naked and caress each other, but I've seen this stuff done a lot worse than it is here. Naturally, the plot is not wrapped up at all by the end and the actual ending itself is just pointless...like the rest of the film. Still, this is certainly very amusing entertainment and is at least worth a look.

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT* I bought this video for two bucks. You know, with some of the Seduction flicks, you could sometimes mistake their movies for a regular B-flick with extra helpings of sex. "Spiderbabe" is a good example. I can assure you that there's no chance of mistaking "Witchbabe" for what it is. This, my friend, is a soft core lesbian porno. For two bucks, it was a good deal."Witchbabe" is about women having soft core sex with each other. Anyone who sees the plot of this movie differently was not paying attention. The mayor's blonde wife gets turned on by the black haired Erotic Witch. And there you have it. There's plenty of lesbian sex to keep the viewer happy and some other dialogue scenes that were filmed so that they could be fast forwarded through. "Witchbabe" is good stuff. If you're into girls on film, you'll like it.Two final thoughts. First, Debbie Rochon is in this one but she doesn't do much. She's pictured on the back of the video box with a handgun. There is no gun in "Witchbabe". There's barely any Rochon. The good news is that she does take her top off at the end. She then proceeds to kind of dance around with Darian Caine but they don't have sex. The Erotic Witch's horny spell was working pretty well on Caine. Did Rochon drink an anti-sex potion to ward off horny spirits? The spell was broken.Second, I was quite amused at the Julian Wells sex scene. It seemed to be inserted totally at random. The main blonde sits down on a couch with Wells and tells her that she wants her. We have no idea where Wells's house is or how the main blonde got there. All we know is that there are two horny blonde's on a couch. After the scene is over, Wells disappears from the movie. This was the most blatantly porno-like scene in the movie. It was also one of the hottest. Wells really likes to squirm around and make all kinds of sounds when she's happy. Man, that couch looked really comfortable. Wooo Hooo Witchy Women.

in this prequal to the previous 2 "Erotic Witch Project" skin-flicks, a witch (Paige Richards) makes various girls horny much to the chagrin of local mayor, Rudolf. The film has horny girls engaging in simulated solo, girl on girl, threesomes & orgies, you know par for the corse of ANY Seduction Film produced film. A few cheap laughs are scattered here & there and Misty Mundae is always a joy to watch. She just seems more accessible to viewers, i guess. Anyway this is just a standard softcore, no more, no less. The "flaming homosexual" might offend some, but somehow I don't really think the people who watch these films would get worked up over it.My Grade: C
