It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

Okay, so we have a 70-80-minute movie. And the script and whole story would only do for a 15-minute one. What should we do? Let's see. Yes, let's have the characters drive, walk and canoe most of the time. And let us not forget to add some horror score even if what is on screen is only a tree or a flower - just so that our viewers would not forget this is a horror movie. Well, the only horrific element in this crapastrophic movie is the acting. And, yes, it was that horrific. I watched halfway through this movie with my nephew, and we couldn't get past the 40-minute mark - since, by then, there was nothing but characters walking, driving and talking. There was not a single interesting aspect of this snooze fest. There is no story, let alone a backstory, no scares and no chemistry between the two leads. To add insult to injury, whenever the female protagonist saw the 'ghost' - which was definitely nothing more than a 5-minute job done on Paintbrush - she acts like she hadn't seen a darn thing. Hogwash! We actually got to see that she saw the ghost in full view, once for more than a few seconds. Does the director really want to treat his viewers as if they were dumb? Does he think we are as shallow as the abomination that is the script - or lack thereof - he is working with? Does he not know what horror flicks are made of? There are no words in the English language and not enough space in the universe to state just how terrible a movie this is. I am sure watching a vegetable rotting or paint drying would be much more fun, and a far better investment of your time, than seeing this.

This film really confuses me, not in the films content or anything like that. In the rating. To read the reviews the films makers have committed some sort of atrocity, but this is far from the case. Little Devil (Demon Baby/Wandering Rose) is a competently made, great indie film, it's shot beautifully, has nice performances, and does not try EVER to be something it's not. Yes at times it's a little slow as the creators battle with trying to achieve suspense, but beyond that it's all very very good. I understand the movies budget was about £10,000 and trust me, that's a great return on a small investment. The film tells a story of a couple on retreat for a holiday, but things are not all as they seem, lots of sub-plots occur and the film is a true mystery. The pay off may not be as strong as the build up, but still its a much better movie than other reviewers here make out.

I was in the mood for an afternoon of horror flicks. I checked out Demon Baby from my local Redbox and sat down anticipating to be scared in the daylight. I am so disappointed. The acting was passable, the story line confusing, the scares were nil, and no explanation as to what the hell I was watching. As other reviewers have mentioned, by the title of the movie you are expecting a Rosemary's Baby or something similar. I sat through the movie just waiting for something to happen. There were a few brief glimpses of a ghostly apparition, but without context, they didn't make sense. Actually, the movie never made sense in relation to the title of the movie. "Wandering Rose" is a much better title as that is all Rose ever did.Save your money. And for Pete's sake, change the title of the movie and the cover graphics. Completely misleading.

I bought this at the Redbox expecting some sort of demon baby wrecking havoc. If it was intended to be a psychological thriller then I certainly didn't notice it. The movie plods along like something is going to happen, but it leaves me with too many questions than having any of them answered. So is the ghost supposed to be her? Is it supposed to be a friend that died that's passing her baby onto her? Maybe her boyfriend was the devil and he passed something evil onto her? If anyone knows the answer, maybe you can clarify... because I didn't get a single thing about it. I see things of baby talk and camping out in the woods but nothing really makes a whole lot of sense. It doesn't help that the only two options in the DVD - this is from Redbx, so it's to be expected - just the trailer and the film itself. Literally no discussion or talk about what it's supposed to mean. If there's one thing I don't like about indie films like this, too much time goes into trying to be the next 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Rosemary's Baby' but they only cover half or even remotely partly half of what those movies were about. This film left me wanting more and yet deep down I felt cheated... is there some part 2? Was a bulk of the film cut out or something? I have no idea.Next time you make a movie like this, please, for the life of me, give me some clues! The bones are all here but this Halloween treat has no meat to it. I wanted candy but you gave me just the wrappers. No fair, buddy!
