As five underworld heavies settle in for an all night stay at an abandoned warehouse and former film studio, a series of bizarre and unsettling occurrences quickly lead them to believe they are not alone. It was supposed to be a simple night of babysitting a single hostage, but when a series of numbers began to appear on the walls things soon took a dark turn. Later, after the hostage escapes, the perplexed thugs not only learn that there is a rat in the ranks, but also discover the unsettling nature of the films that were shot in the warehouse. Now, as terror takes hold, the thieves are about to discover that they are being stalked from the shadows and that their odds of living to see daybreak are shrinking with each passing minute.Written by Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

"13 hours in a warehouse" is a movie I actually had a lot of fun with. It tells us the story of a group of gangsters that has to kill some time in the middle of a coup and gets hunted down by the ghosts inhabiting an abandoned warehouse belonging to some of the group member's family. While this is in general unquestionable a rather dull plot, the producers managed to make a film that comes along with believable dialogues, consequent characters and some nice side-plots. The cons of the movie always begin when the ghosts actually show up. As in most smaller productions, it would have suited the film better to let go of special effects, simply because good ones aren't realistic within the budget. While I thus doubt that many people will experience traumatizing horror through this movie, it is still a nice little piece that you can enjoy rather easily without getting bored. All in all I can say that I think the title is a bit underrated here and if you don't mind unwillingly funny special effects, this could be worth a watch.

A friend and I were quite bored yesterday evening, and with both of us being fans of low budget horror flicks, figured we would give this one a watch. If you are of like mind and in a similar situation, save yourself some mental anguish and remove this from your netflicks que. No really, open a new tab to your netflicks account and do it now. I cannot begin to understand the mental workings of those who have positively reviewed this film, nor would I want to. Were I to author an idiots guide on how to monumentally fail at film making, my readers would be directed to watch this film as a failsafe. Terrible acting? Check. Poor stages and lighting? Hell yes. Plot points stolen from classic horror films, mashed together willy-nilly, and vomited up in true Linda Blair fashion? You bet your as*. From the first line of poorly scripted and pathetically delivered dialog to the hackneyed attempt at a surprise ending, this film is a true lemon.P.S.: For those of you unfortunate enough to have seen either "House of the Dead" or "Zombie Nation", just think of "13 Hours in a Warehouse" as an equivalently disastrous film possessed of a lower budget.

I enjoyed this movie cause not just was it original but the acting and writing was great. Without giving away the whole plot I would recommend this movie for anyone liking a good heist/horror/mystery movie. The writer had enough twists going to keep you guessing right up to the end. The writer/director Dave kaufman is someone to watch out for in the future. It is rear to see a movie that the characters are believable. Too many Hollywood movie are all about the formula and not the substance. This indie movie will surprise you. Hollywood has run out of ideas and the constant slew of remakes shows that. I will be waiting to see the next film from writer/director Dave kaufman.

I noticed this movie because I thought the cover was really cool looking. The first thing I thought was, is this going to be a Saw rip off (there's a saw blade shown on the cover). It wasn't, but it ripped off more movies than any of the Scary Movies. Unlike Scary Movie which was supposed to spoof other movies, this takes itself very seriously. I recommend watching this with a group of people as it will be more entertaining that way (I saw it in a group of 4).It starts out with a group of guys planning to heist an art gallery and then meeting up at an abandoned warehouse. A woman is carjacked and brought to the warehouse. She is tied up while the crew apparently didn't rip off Reservoir Dogs enough as an imitation Steve Buscemi instead of talking about Madonna, talks about Robin Williams and what a genius he is. I can't make this up.A series of numbers keeps appearing as well. Ghosts that look like a combination of The Ring, 13 Ghosts and Pulse characters appear.I don't want to ruin anymore of this gem for you. We came up with this list of movies that were ripped off for this film: Reservoir Dogs,The Ring, 13 Ghosts, Pulse, Silence Of The Lambs, Hostel, The Blair Witch Project, Gothika, 8MM, Pulp Fiction and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There's probably more, but thats what I could come up with now.Lets hope there's a 14 Hours In A Warehouse in the works................NOT!
