Vampire Clan (2002)

Absolutely the worst movie.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

If I could rate it over 10, I would. The roles were very difficult to play. Drew Fuller did an amazing job, as he's more known for his roles in Charmed and the ultimate gift. This character is much, much darker than both of those. When I first saw the film I thought, impossible. This can't be based on a true story, not that it seems fake, it's just the theme, vampires and the gore of what happened to Heather's parents. I loved the role of Rod and found him ice cool, even for a villain he was my favourite. The swearing didn't bother me at all, although I was surprised to hear the F word slip so much from Drew, as I knew him as Chris in Charmed and had to rewind the film twice before I could get it into my brain. I would recommend this film to anyone. It's an amazing story line, and it's all round fabulous to watch. Well done to the casting! You've done well.

For being a movie that is based on a true story, it was really great. I actually rented the DVD because Drew Fuller was in it and I really liked him as Chtistopher Perry Halliwel in 'Charmed'. He is good looking ans someone who can really put his emotions out there. It was surprisingly good because I saw some trailers of it and I didn't think I would like it. It was good and exiting and scary. The acting was good but it was kind of yucky sometimes. There were some parts where I thought: "okay, this is going a little bit to far." But it is all forgotten en forgiven because Drew is such a hot guy! The role of the girls was really good but I think that the other characters were a little bit 'flat'. But maybe they just didn't have enough facts and it's a little stupid for making thing up.

Hmmm. This movie has changed my life. Look what i am now. I have been made into what I have so longed to be...a Vampire. I do everything the movie shows me is possible to do. I am in love with "Vampire Clan". I wouldn't stop watching it for the world. This movie for some reason has made me realize what I really am. I am a vampire. And I love the feeling of it. Getting together with my clan and talking and drinking blood from each other for hours. My clan and I would like to thank this movie for showing us the right way to go in our lives. We couldn't be anymore happier then we are. I devote my life to this movie. Even though I cant die. And I devote my life to the ways of Rodrick Justin Ferrell.

This movie was never meant to be a horror flick. If anything, I'd categorize this movie in the same genre as Catch Me If You Can. After reading through a couple of the reviews here at the IMDb, I felt the need to submit my own review. This movie is NOT for people who want a good old fashioned vampire movie. Just because the title has 'vampire' in it, doesn't mean it needs to be the typical horror movie.Rather, this movie is based on a true story. Granted, just like in Catch Me If You Can, some things from real life had to have been changed. But the general plot and the basic motivations of the characters remain true.This entire movie is an in-depth look at the human psyche and the troubled lives of a couple teenagers. I find it fascinating from a philosophical and psychological viewpoint. If you liked the movies Memento and Catch Me, then this movie is for you.Granted, there are some things about the movie that I felt needed to be explained and I would have liked to see more reason for the actions of the main characters. It would have been nice to see why the kids acted the way they acted--what kind of parents and home life did that have to make them so confused and lost? But I think the movie still makes it and is definitely worth seeing. It's well directed and well acted--and I am glad I sat down and watched it all the way through.Even if it wasn't a scary vampire movie.
