There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Yes, even by the low standards of Lifetime's formulaic, crime dramas, this one is bad. Horrible Fatal Attraction rip-off (and there have been many of those) with no surprises, high school drama club-level acting and a terrible script. Don't let the title fool you--this is tame, TV-14 (I would have rated it PG) level stuff. In fact, it plays like one of those old, Afterschool Movies (don't have sex with your teacher, kids!) with just a bit of racy/violent stuff thrown in. Lifetime has made a few, somewhat-decent time-killers, but this is not one of them. I should have checked the IMDb rating before watching this crud, but it was on Amazon Prime (home of a lot of terrible movies), so I thought "why not." I owe the move one thing along those lines, though: after watching it, I decided not to subscribe to AP after my free trial ends, so Dirty Teacher ended up saving me $10.99 a month.

I was watching TV. late at night last week with my wife. Not much on. Came across this one. At first it looked like a stupid "after school special" that they used to put on. Then my wife and I actually got into it at stayed up until at least 02:30 in the morning watching it. Of course it was very predictable, but at the same time the movie was very enjoyable. My wife and I just love these kind of movies that take place in a school type setting. They bring us back in time to when we were both in school. Some of the actors could not act at all. The police investigating the murders seemed to not even care that someone was murdered. Josie Davis from Charles in Charge was in this as the "Dirty Teacher". Overall not a bad movie to watch if there is nothing else on TV.

When a high school English literature teacher takes maternity leave, substitute Josie Davis (as Molly Matson) arrives to fill out the year. She also fills out some tight skirts and blouses. Possibly psycho, due to weird flashbacks from an ugly childhood, Ms. Davis shows ample cleavage and a lot of leg. This teacher is so obviously looking for sex; we wonder why the administration didn't observe her more closely. There are dozens of older looking "teenagers" who notice Davis peddling her services. She watches handsome baseball star Cameron Deane Stewart (as Danny Campbell) at practice, and decides he is to be her seduction...This is the same plot as several TV movies, which seem to be recycled with one or two changes in character and setting. "Dirty Teacher" could have been improved by leaving off the "tease" opening, since it hints at an event which could (or should) be more uncertain. Also, Mr. Stewart is the conflicted protagonist instead of the one you're expecting, college-focused girlfriend Kelcie Stranahan (as Jamie Hall). The story doesn't make much of this, but it makes the movie's structure more interesting. The story sticks to formula and all the players, including director Doug Campbell and his crew, essay their roles well.***** Dirty Teacher (3/30/13) Doug Campbell ~ Josie Davis, Kelcie Stranahan, Cameron Deane Stewart, Darlene Vogel

To think, this all started because Mrs. Cohen, the high school English teacher, took maternity leave. The picture showed that they had to have better ways in determining who was fit to be in the classroom. Molly had a history before of lust in the classroom back east. That doesn't even include what she did to her mother as a child.Molly went after that male student with a vengeance. Further evidence was overlooked, she changed that C grade to an A for the female so as to shut her up.Right away, the Molly character came across as the sexual deviant. I had to laugh when the principal said that she was doing a good job. Had she observed her?The film became nothing more than the blame game. Teacher kills student and frames a fellow student, the girlfriend of the deceased for his murder. Routine idea, outrageous teacher.
