This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

It completely baffles me how this horrible movie can possibly get a 6/10. I have never seen such a ridiculous movie as this. Horrible writing, acting, and directing all in one. This movie ponders the meaning of life, but a more challenging question to mankind would be to ask "How does this movie have a rating higher than 1/10 on IMDb?"

Genius Club is the most emotionally moving film I have ever seen. It delves deeply into one of the worst human fears, losing the ability to move and function, but it's never forced or manipulative, and there's no heavy-handed message or moral. It's just a fascinating story that's beautifully told, especially as you get to know the characters. The acting is as good as you will ever see. Tom Sizemore deftly handles all the emotional and physical challenges of his role, and Stephen Baldwin demonstrates convincingly that he is an actor, not just a comedian. Baldwin is perhaps a bit too nerdy at first, but he captures perfectly all the hope, fear, exhilaration, and anguish that a pizza boy in that situation must be experiencing. Genius CLub is based on actual world events, and, to me at least, real events are always more powerful than even the best fiction.I like escapist fare as much as the next guy, but once in a while, everyone should see a movie that you will remember and think about for a very long time. Genius Club deserves to be at the top of your list of movies to see.

I hate to say it. but this movie is gonna fail in the box office. for the same reason no one showed up to its screening. but this will be one of the most entertaining cult movies ever. although it lacks the glam and actually will turn a lot of people away before they even get to the box office do to the subject matter, but they will all be missing out on a must see movie. I don't think i've cried this hard in a long long time. this movie isn't really intended to be anti-cancer, but there is some of it. Its more of a satire on the reality of people and how much we're willing to believe or willing to be dooped. I see it similar to liar liar not being about about the legal system but the moral and ethical decisions of people within society. overall I would have to saw this is a great great movie. Highly recommend it. And could not imagine this movie to turn out any better than it has already been with the perfect cast and great story line. I think the best way to encompass the movie is paraphrased in the movie's catchy line 'our world is one big beer commercial.

This film was, in my opinion, exciting, thrilling, and an overall entertaining film to watch. It delivered the necessary chills, to keep its audiences fully awake, and engaged."Genius" does benefit from its moody atmosphere, which may cover up any of the film's shortcomings. Towards the end, it does lose pace a little bit as things seem to be spiraling down the haunted house route, but quickly regains momentum as it draws to a close especially Baldwin's monologue about his dying mom. I know that despite its flaws, I was glued to the seat and really "in" the film's tight tension, which thankfully doesn't let up.I can't remember the last time I've been surprised by a movie's final twist, but "The Genius Club" has an ending that I didn't see coming at all. This thriller is the most original piece of independent film-making since "Cube". I'm really looking forward to seeing how Tim Chey's 'Suing the Devil' measures to this.
