Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Don't listen to the negative reviews
It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
This could be the start of a new urban legend! Scary! Underground organ trade involving kids. I think the main message is that it's in our hands to decide and our own fault if an underground results from all of us being selfish in not giving up our organs when we are dead. I think it should be made mandatory by any government that until you say you opt out, you are automatically donating your parts when you are dead. I don't have any children but I can just imagine what a person would be faced with if you were deciding their fate. And you have to determine someone else's fate to save your own child. The world might come to this - the count down ticker in the trailer of this movie shows quite a difference between the actual donors and recipients.
well done independent touching on real life issues. Strong characters - really makes you think about the question the movie poses. The score was extremely well done, considering this is an independent, matches up quite well against top movies with a large budget - looking through credits saw they actually used a orchestra for the score - not bad for a micro budget indie. Some scary scenes that really make you think about it possibly existing in real life ... but I think they got their message across about this really asking a philosophical question of what a person would do if faced with needing an organ. Made me Google to find out there definitely is an organ shortage, wait lists, etc.
