Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Throughout the movie it was only some useless chattering, no such horror or creepy scenes at the last a man comes out of the woods with an axe nicely makeup n kill the friends at the last wqithin probably 10mins he kills all of them excpt one girl who smhow manages to escape. It is just total waste of time.
Avoid this like the plague. Worst film I've ever seen.
Don't waste your time, absolutely diabolical, unbelievably shocking acting, Sky Tv had it down as 5/5, they need poking in the bloody eye
Firstly, I had heard a bit about this movie coming out online a good while back. The trailer quite honestly didn't grab me but I felt there was some potential all the same so I had it on my watchlist. I loved the synopsis and as a big fan of cabin in the woods horror I had to give it a chance. I was taken in by this film in the first 15 minutes I would say with very natural performances, clearly of a higher standard than that of most low budget horror movies. The picture was particularly sharp and the sound crisp I really invested in the story. This film was great at building a sense of dread and suspense that kept advancing all the way to the third and final act. I absolutely loved the final act it really paid off for me and I think that's testament to the quality of acting, character development and some bloody good special effects I wasn't expecting. The edit of this film contributed greatly to a nice pace that the movie runs at aswell so the hour and 20 minutes or whatever it is really flew by. One of the most atmospheric horror films I've ever seen with very believable characters I really enjoyed. Top notch debut going straight into my horror collection.
