Christina's comedy special was not without its funny moments but it's clear Christina is an advocate of the 'Nothing is out of bounds' for comedy objectives, and to a degree I think that probably is the case, but that doesn't mean all topics are great for comedy, or that an average comedian can pull a laugh out of a taboo subject and not fall flat on their face, and there's a few pristine examples of that here. Mental illness is a tough one to find the right tone on to mock, and Christina's love of the school yard obvious hung her by the neck here, her Dick Clark piece came across like teenage bullies picking on the deformed kid behind the bike sheds. and there was plenty more where that came from. While pretending to be the thinking caring persons champion she regularly took the exact opposite position to demonise the underdog and hammer home a rhetoric point. I didn't hate her but I thought she let herself down on many occasions. Comedy can and should be risky, but it shouldn't be stupid about it.

I thought she did a great job and was very original. I am a huge fan of stand up. I grew up where bob and tom radio was founded and listened to them for 20 years. If you know the show then you know they are famous for getting stand up comics name out there. Every day they would have a stand up comedian regulars such as daniel tosh, george lopez, frank caliendo and many more who would appear regularly before gaining fame. These comedians at one time or another were in the same shoes as Christina P. Arthousefilms clearly doesn't understand stand up as he or she referenced amy schumer who has been busted as stealing 90% of her material from other stand ups mainly ones that didn't rise to fame. Also arthousefilms talks about the vulgarity of her stand up but finishes by saying he would rather watch sarah silverman who is by far the grossest female stand up out there, come on man don't complain about someones style then say you're going to watch someone else who is far worse. Christina did a great job with originality which is what you want from a stand up comedian something fresh and new. If want a comedian without the vulgarity then marathon Jim Gaffigan he is great without vulgar material. All the greats are vulgar in one way or another. Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Bob Saget, all huge stars with far worse material.

Christina P. is a female comic with a dark sense of humor who refuses to be forced to choose between the classic "madonna/whore" stereotype that many female comedians are shoehorned into. She talks about being a mother and parenthood from the perspective of a true individual, rather than having her femininity being shtick or a burden. She also covers other topics like selfies, lack of bjs post marriage, Midwestern dads, GILFS, her own hardcore Eastern Block parents and an especially hilarious insight into what happens when you tell little boys not to cry. I look forward to seeing what she does next.A note: Christina P does use vulgar language, but honestly if you're a fan of comedy you won't be shocked by anything she says. Some people may not be ready to hear a woman talk like Louis CK or Tom Segura (her husband), but if what she is saying is insightful and honest then hopefully they can accept it for what it is: funny.

Trust me, I can handle vulgarity. I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy and also a fan of the likes of Louis CK and Amy Schumer. But folks, this comedy special of Christina Pazsitsky is completely gross and unfunny.Comedy is funny when it is smart and insightful. This special is just horrible. Pazsitsky relies on topping each "joke" about an orifice, with another take on a different orifice that is even viler. Joan Rivers had plenty of vulgarity in her routines, but it was smart. Louis CK and Amy Schumer are the same, smart. (Although their 2017 specials were about as gross as Pazitsky's). But if you look at the body of CK or Schumer's work, they are very smart and offer clever observations.Pazsitsky, however, is completely unfunny in this special; merely describing body fluids, body function, and sexual mechanics is trite, sophomoric, and annoying. Her interactions with the audience during the show were cringe-worthy and embarrassing to watch. It's like she had no clever observations to transform into comedy so she went for the big laugh by talking existentially about the body and sex, as if the just uttering a vulgar sentence is automatically supposed to be a laugh riot. Nothing in this is funny. I was deeply put off by her daft insulting of the audience's intelligence. She's an appealing person with decent comic delivery, but the "comedy" out of her mouth was nothing more than futilely trying to max out the shock meter. But that "shock" had no effect other than to make me want to immediately cleanse my palette with some good old-fashioned Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, or Chelsea Handler. I hope this special gets buried and never surfaces again.
