To me, this movie is perfection.
A Major Disappointment
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
The movie really just wants to entertain people.
This movie starts with so much promise! It promises to talk about dowry, women emancipation, mother-in-laws that should be in jail. But it ends up being a bollywood soap. In this movie, its the woman's fault if she chooses career over marriage in a highly conservative family. But taking dowry is OK. And even after being a high ranking government officer, the man has to study harder, get a better job and come and rescue her. I am just surprised that it got a rating of 8! Dont get me wrong, the acting is great! But the story is written by someone who believes in a patriarchal society. The moral, its always the woman's fault and she will always need a man to rescue her...
This is also a talent to ruin such a good chemistry b/w the couple. Bollywood writers and directors know exactly how to shit on a good plot ! Plot was good , though very poorly written , lack of good supporting roles , punches at the right time could have made this movie much better. Kriti has done a fantastic job & Rao's flavor has made the chemistry a delight to watch ! The Movie was still better than many of b'wood love sagas ! Ending was poor. I think writers here think that happy endings are mandatory . Please dont watch if you watch just movie a month , & please watch if you are a movie geek. Kriti's performance is phenomenal!
To be honest I was waiting for a long time to watch such a beautiful movie. It is different and not so predictable movie after watching the trailer. Kirti Kharbanda is looking a gem in the movie and has done justice to her role. Rajkumar is no longer an actor we should doubt on. Together both of them have made this movie worth a watch for everyone; even for those who don't like this type of movie. Trust me you are going to love the Banarasi accent in the movie. I have watched this movie 4-5 times and my friends were asking for an HD print of movie which came very late. Can't give less than 9 stars to the movie. A star less as the movie could have been a little shorter after the first half. Kirti you are very pretty and beautiful and I am one of your craziest fan. <3<3
Actually this movie is interesting due to some aspects like it had included every aspects of the issue that it has focused so properly and simply. The versatility of this guy is unbelievable, the innocence acting of the girl is most lovable part that I think that most of us has liked. Now Bollywood deserves this class of movies from these class actors and actress not like BarunDhavan the joker. Must watch. Most recommended.
