The inhabitants of a small town are busy getting ready for the final round in the competition “Best Small City of the Country”. Only the physics teacher Alexander Aksenov does not care: in his yard unexpectedly appear huge… buttocks. In order to avoid a tragedy, Alexander Dmitrievich turns to the public via Internet. His story immediately spreads across the entire country and draws the attention of the city administration, for whom the presence of these “well-known” buttocks is absolutely inopportune, especially on the eve of the competition final. The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
