School production of Grease streamed only for 3 nights in 2021. After being postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, most of the cast was back (with some new additions) and expecting to perform at the Chatswood Concourse, but due to lockdown restrictions, this was not viable. Ultimately, the crew turned to film to bring the show to life! Redlands presents Grease The Musical! A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
