This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

During the 1980s, jungle adventure movies became popular again, so Italian producers decided to make a quick cash-in on the success of "Romancing the Stone", "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and such-like by sending Inca Man (Bruno Minniti) and the secretary Linda (Kelly London) on a journey through constant peril, from human sacrifice to piranhas, from poisoned arrows to a hungry plastic crocodile. A poorly acted, cheap, silly, hilarious little low budget flick - it was a lot more entertaining than I expected, I have to admit. Don't ask me what the whole chase was all about: an alien astronaut, a hidden treasure or an ancient sun-god with an electronic organ? Every time the audience starts wondering, a bunch of heavies with machine guns turns up, and that works somehow. Footnote: This was the last movie by veteran director Gianfranco Parolini, known for many westerns, thrillers and historical epics of the 1960s.

For those who liked films such as Jewel Of The Nile and The Gods Must Be Crazy, then this is for you.... It has a corny and a great 80's feel to it. You do feel like your on an Adventure, but it never quite reaches its potential for a great film. The premise is good, but the dialog and acting are just sooo poor that it makes you laugh. I don't consider it a classic, but it is a great film to watch on like a rainy Saturday afternoon!!! Now, this movie was made on the cheap - a budget close to nothing when compared to superior films such as the Indiana Jones films, but try not t o take this film so seriously and the film is just plain fun to watch (after a while, you forget about the cheesy acting and dialog).....oh and how could I forget - Kelly London is one of the hottest women I have ever seen (I lusted for her in every scene). Her beauty alone brings so much to the film. Speaking of beauty, I loved the cinematography as well. Aside from that, the music sets the mood pretty well for the whole film too!In my opinion, this film is fun to watch - mostly because it reminds me just how great the 80's were and my childhood.....and I am a fanatic on Adventure!Besides, the South American landscape is the ultimate premise for an Adventure film.....I give this film 6/10 (3 for Kelly London, 1 for the music and 2 for the cinematography)!
