In this darkly karmic vision of Arizona, a man who breathes nothing but ill will begins a noxious domino effect as quickly as an uncontrollable virus kills. As he exits Arizona State Penn after twenty-one long years, Wilson has only one thing on the brain, leveling the score with career criminal, Mackey Willis. As eccentric and intuitive as he is vicious, Mackey's own perfected criminal game will play right into the path Wilson has set for him. With the help of a prison bus driver, Lee Marvin, Wilson acts as a catalyst, putting a plan into action that will bring an untimely end to Mackey Willis. The problem is, nothing goes exactly as planned.

In the beginning everything seems to be a great movie. Somehow, exactly everything is plain boring and you get tired of this crap. I gave it 55 minutes then I pulled out the cable for my TV. Save time, do something else in stead of seeing this load of crap. There aren't any big actors in the movie, maybe Robert Loggia and Forrester, and even if the try very hard at the acting its a plain bad manuscript. One of the most annoying things also is the jumping in time back and forth for "flashbacks" or what the director had in mind. Its just like a bad, so bad, copy of Pulp Fiction or something =). When I saw this movie it had about 6.8 on IMDb. Looking now it has dropped to 5.8 so I guess people doesn't, as me, like this stupid crap.

This movie had the framework to be very good. It has a good cast with an interesting premise and I dug the gritty style. It starts out and you think this movie is gonna take off and then it slows down till the final scene. The older cast of actors led by Robert Forster take on roles you have never seen them in. Although I felt Robert Loggia was merely reprising the same role he had in Lost HIghway. I thought the script was interesting, I thought the full circle karma thing was pretty cool, and there was some foreshadowing through out the movie that you figure out towards the end. But as I said there is about 35 min of this movie That I could have dome with out. I think this movie could have been a mini series on HBO or something. Each episode would have been each one of the seven characters stories. It has a great different look and format which we are not used to seeing, but I thought wild seven could have use just a little fine tuning.

....that's the impression I had of this movie. It was genuinely awful. For all its edgy posing, the hackneyed dialogue, the poor acting from the twenty-somethings, the plot line that somehow managed to be overly convoluted and boringly simplistic at the same time, and the flat one-dimensional characters made this movie seem like torture by blandness. When I wasn't injecting my own MST3K commentary, I was wondering how anyone could possibly have funded this movie - and I imagined that the fathers of the actors/director were all oil billionaires or something. It's part of the culture of entitlement with the twenty-something offspring of wealthy parents - if you want to make a movie, you can do it! If you want to record a rap album, you can do it! You're great! Here's the problem: Somewhere along the way people seem to have forgotten that creating great art requires talent and imagination. Hell, creating mediocre art requires some talent and imagination. Creating a movie like Wild 7 only requires Daddy Warbucks and an unearned sense of self-confidence fostered by overly-indulgent parents and a true lack of understanding about what makes great movies great. In short ... we all love movies. But, that doesn't me we all can make them. Sometimes you're only cut out to be a fan.

Great movie. This is what comes to mind after seeing this movie. I saw a trailer for this film on youtube and was really drawn to it. So I looked it up online and bought it. Well, the day i got it in the mail I made a B line to my DVD player and pressed play. Right away I was sucked into this movie by the cool camera angles and directing style. I really have to watch what I say though because i don't want to put a spoiler on here. But I really enjoyed the line up of actors in this movie and some new young actors I have never seen, but I know I will in the future. I highly recommend the movie to all and look forward to more work from this director.
