Although less people is playing The Angry Birds mobile game now, Sony always have a strong confident in the animated film make by this game.
The Angry Birds Movie 2, the animates squeal , announced that it would be released on 16th Aug, 2019. It changed its schedule to avoid It: Chapter Two which took by Warner Bros.
The Angry Birds Movie is a 2016 3D computer-animated comedy film based on Rovio Entertainment's video game series of the same name， produced by Columbia Pictures and Rovio Animation, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It was directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly in their directorial debuts and written by Jon Vitti.
The Angry Birds Movie 1 was released in 2016. Although the public praise was not very well, it relied on the popularity of the game to harvest 350 million dollars box office, the film's production costs about 73 million dollars.
Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad and Bill Hader will continue to dub for The Angry Birds Movie 2, and Sterling K. Brown(This Is Us and Black Panther) and Leslie Jones will join in the movie too. The last episode, Birds and his companions came to the islands to snatch the eggs from pigs. The story of sequel has not yet announced. Obviously, the villains will not be willing to give up.
