Dire warnings of an android future! Having returned victorious from their battle with Frieza, the Z-fighters can at last breathe a collective sigh of relief... But they won't have long to rest. A new host of villains has appeared, ready to wreak havoc on the Earth - and Goku, the Z-Fighters' greatest hero, is still missing! In the face of these new dangers, a mysterious youth with Super Saiyan powers has come bearing a bleak prediction for the future: in just three years' time, an evil greater than any the Z-Fighters have ever faced will emerge to cast a shadow of destruction and despair over the Earth. If the young Saiyan's prediction is correct, the Z-Fighters will have to train like they have never trained before in order to have any hope against these seemingly unstoppable foes: the Androids!

Episode 32 - Unwelcome Discovery
First Aired: October. 03,2000

The three Androids are on their way to Goku's house – unaware that no one is there to greet them. Meanwhile, during the flight to Master Roshi's island, Goku has horrific nightmares – nightmares that are all-too close to reality. Also, Trunks and others discuss his future, his time traveling and the constant changes. The answers create some headaches and things Trunks never considered. However, while flying by, something unusual is found on the ground below. An investigation reveals that it looks like a time capsule – Trunks' time capsule, but how can that be when he still has his?

Episode 31 - Closing In
First Aired: October. 02,2000

Kami has much to consider. He and Piccolo reuniting could possibly save the world, but the latter's past doesn't prevent frightening possibilities from being overlooked. Meanwhile, Goku is barely stable now and needs time to recover. Unfortunately, the three Androids aren't willing to give him the time. The Z Fighters evacuate him and Chi-Chi, and they fly to Master Roshi's island. Also, thugs learn what the Z Fighters already knew – Androids 16, 17 and 18 should never be provoked.

Episode 30 - Last Ditch Effort
First Aired: September. 29,2000

The Z Fighters' sole good news right now is that they are still alive. Vegeta storms off to train harder and vent about his humiliating defeat. Piccolo also leaves, but is not forthcoming about why. Krillin, however, figures it out – he is going to ask Kami to reunite into one, powerful being. Kami is not surprised by this development, but he needs time to think about it. Tien decides to head off on his own, while Krillin and Trunks race to reach Goku's house. They have to get him and the others out of there before the three Androids arrive.

Episode 29 - No Match for the Androids
First Aired: September. 28,2000

Trunks has leapt into battle, and has been joined by Piccolo and Tien. Krillin, however, is too afraid to do anything but watch. Though Android 18 doesn't need the help, Android 17 is no longer bound by his earlier promise and also enters the fray. Their combined might easily crushes the Z Fighters. They don't kill them, though, and soon leave with Android 16. With the sick Goku their target, what can possibly be done now?

Episode 28 - Deadly Beauty
First Aired: September. 27,2000

Android 18 accepts Vegeta's challenge for a fight. Krillin, Piccolo, Tien and Trunks soon arrive to the battlefield. Vegeta doesn't want their help and Android 17 promises to stay out of the fight if they do. He also notes that Vegeta is very strong, but doubts by enough. He is soon not alone in thinking that. Piccolo notices that Vegeta grows weaker, while 18 doesn't. The results speak for themselves, as Vegeta soon takes a beating. Trunks races into action to save his father – triggering an even bigger fight.

Episode 27 - Goku's Assassin
First Aired: September. 26,2000

Lots of surprising things await the Z Fighters at Dr. Gero's laboratory. For one, Android 17 finishes Dr. Gero. Also, Android 18 finds a pod containing the dormant Android 16. Trunks unleashes a powerful energy blast in an attempt to destroy them all, but to no real effect. Once 16 is activated, he reveals his mission is to kill Goku. 17 and 18 decide that would be fun and take 16 to find Goku – ignoring the Z Fighters in the process. Vegeta, though, hates being ignored and pursues to get a fight.

Episode 26 - Nightmare Comes True
First Aired: September. 25,2000

Dr. Gero believes that Androids 17 and 18 will be the keys to his victory, but problems arise. For one, his run-in with Krillin just leads the other Z Fighters right to him. However, by the time they arrive, Dr. Gero is in his laboratory and activating the two Androids. He orders them to destroy the Z Fighters, but 17 and 18 display a lack of obedience. They quickly turn on their creator. Meanwhile, Yamcha and Chi-Chi watch over a struggling Goku. He looks bad, but what he's dreaming is even worse.

Episode 25 - Follow Dr. Gero
First Aired: September. 22,2000

Damaged and surrounded, Android 20 is definitely feeling pressure from the Z Fighters. When Bulma's plane arrives, he finds his needed diversion to escape by shooting it down. Fortunately, Trunks rescues Bulma and his younger self. What Bulma knows is just as important. She has seen Android 20 before – he's actually a modified Dr. Gero. Trunks also reveals more about the Androids that he knows – 17 and 18. Unfortunately, Dr. Gero wants his currently dormant creations to fight the Z Fighters and only he knows where they are.

Episode 24 - More Androids
First Aired: September. 21,2000

Though the Z Fighters are after Android 20, they don't realize what he has in mind for them. Piccolo is attacked and begins to have his energy drained, but then Gohan saves him. Despite backup being on hand, Piccolo decides to handle Android 20 on his own. Much to Android 20's surprise, Piccolo is much stronger than he expected and easily pummels him. Meanwhile, Trunks is back from the future. He also has a big surprise for the Z Fighters – he has never seen Androids 19 and 20 before.

Episode 23 - The Secret of Dr. Gero
First Aired: September. 20,2000

Yamcha immediately flies Goku home to get him the heart disease antidote. Vegeta and the Androids, though, can't be bothered with their absence because they have more important things on their minds. Vegeta and Android 19 quickly battle. Vegeta finishes what Goku started – reducing Android 19 to rubble. The Saiyan Prince then turns his attention to Android 20, who quickly flees. Searching the mountains will not be easy for the remaining Z Fighters. Meanwhile, Android 20 knows that he needs more power to defeat Vegeta and that requires some 'donors.'

Episode 22 - Upgrade to Super Saiyan
First Aired: September. 19,2000

Krillin, Gohan and Yamcha arrive to the battlefield, and they don't like what they see. Goku can barely stand because of the heart disease and even Senzu Beans are ineffective against it. The only antidote is back at Goku's house. Android 19, though, may finish Goku before the heart disease can. Goku's salvation comes from a most unlikely source – Vegeta. Not only that, but much to his joy, he is now a Super Saiyan.

Episode 21 - Double Trouble for Goku
First Aired: September. 18,2000

As the fight between Goku and Android 19 rages, Tien, Piccolo and Android 20 willingly just observe. It looks like Goku will easily wrap things up soon… at least at first. However, there is a problem – a problem that Tien noticed earlier and now threatens to get worse. It turns out that the heart disease is affecting Goku, and he doesn't have the antidote with him. Android 19 is all-too happy to take advantage. Also, the history of Goku's dealings with the Red Ribbon Army comes to light.

Episode 20 - A Handy Trick
First Aired: September. 15,2000

Androids 19 and 20 nearly kill Yamcha. Fortunately, the other Z Fighters arrive on the scene to confront them. Krillin takes Yamcha away to get him a Senzu Bean. Meanwhile, revelations await Goku, Tien and Piccolo. It turns out that this is all about Dr. Gero wanting to make Goku pay for destroying the Red Ribbon Army years ago. Dr. Gero had certainly been meticulous – spending years watching, calculating, and collecting various DNA samples to achieve victory. With more innocents in danger, the three Z Fighters convince the two Androids to take the fight to a more isolated area. Once there, the Super Saiyan Goku takes on Android 19.

Episode 19 - The Androids Appear
First Aired: September. 14,2000

A cliff overlooking the city the Androids are due to attack is the rendezvous point for most of the Z Fighters and Bulma. Vegeta is a no-show, but his and Bulma's son – baby Trunks – isn't. Chiaotzu is absent, too, by Tien's decision. Yajirobe drops by to give Goku some Senzu Beans from Korin. However, just as he leaves, his ship is shot down. Yajirobe is saved, but it is clear that the Androids did it and that the attack has begun. With the Androids somewhere in the city, the Z Fighters begin a search. Yamcha proves unlucky this time, as he finds them first.

Episode 18 - Goku's Ordeal
First Aired: September. 13,2000

A rough trek through the forest is the last straw for Chi-Chi. Pressure to get a driver's license is now on Goku. Also along for the ride is Piccolo, courtesy of Goku. Needless to say, chaos ensues during their driving tests, and they fail. A later test sees them and an instructor find a bus full of people in danger. Innocent lives are saved by Goku and Piccolo, but they fail the test again. On the plus side, the instructor admits that he'd rather be able to fly like them than drive. In the end, it's three years later and time to fight the Androids.

Episode 17 - Z Warriors Prepare
First Aired: September. 12,2000

The Z Fighters – some together and some separately – are in full training mode and with specific regiments in mind. Outdoing Goku, though, proves more important to Vegeta as he trains in three hundred times Earth's gravity. Curiosity about the Saiyan Prince's intense workout prompts Yamcha to give it a try – much to his regret. More severe trouble later occurs for Vegeta – thanks to a shipwide overload and explosion. Bulma ends up nursing him back to health. Three-way sparring between Goku, Gohan and Piccolo goes significantly smoother.

Episode 16 - Goku's Special Technique
First Aired: September. 11,2000

Back with the other Z Fighters and Bulma, Goku explains that he survived Namek's destruction via a Ginyu Force space pod. He later crashed on another planet and was nursed back to health by the inhabitants. He was also taught a new technique – the Instant Transmission. What Trunks had to say is a less pleasant matter to discuss. Piccolo – having heard everything already because of his good ears – cuts to the quick. The Z Fighters decide to spend the next three years training, so they will be ready for the Androids.

Episode 15 - Mystery Revealed
First Aired: September. 08,2000

Goku experiences a much different homecoming than he was expecting. Though he is thrilled to see Gohan and his friends again, the young warrior immediately wishes to speak with him. Before they talk, though, he has Goku prove his Super Saiyan transformation was no fluke. The bizarreness only intensifies from there. The new warrior – Trunks – is the time traveling son of Vegeta and Bulma. By Trunks' time, a heart disease has killed Goku and Dr. Gero's androids have killed many people – including the other Z Fighters. Trunks hopes to now change their future and his present. Before departing, he gives Goku the heart disease antidote.

Episode 14 - Welcome Back Goku
First Aired: September. 07,2000

King Cold is the invasion force's sole survivor, and he refuses to surrender. The young warrior makes him regret that – quickly sending him to Other World. The threat passed, the Z Fighters and Bulma are left with joy, relief and awe. Questions, however, linger about this young warrior – especially when he claims to know that Goku will return in a couple of hours. To see if he's telling the truth, the Z Fighters and Bulma decide to wait with him at the supposed landing site. Amazingly, exactly as the young warrior said, a ship lands on Earth and Goku emerges from it.

Episode 13 - Another Super Saiyan?
First Aired: September. 06,2000

The "Mysterious youth" confronts Frieza, King Cold and their soldiers. The soldiers attack the stranger but get sliced up by his sword. More soldiers charge at the boy but they are easily handled. Frieza and King Cold laugh thinking the stranger will be no trouble at all. The stranger announces that he knows Goku and is a Super Saiyan. He transforms into a Super Saiyan and the Z-Fighters wonder if it’s Goku they are sensing. Frieza tries 3 times to defeat the stranger all failing. He fires a ball at the stranger 10 times the size of the one that destroyed Namek. He just catches it shatters it. "Is this yours" he said to Frieza. The stranger then takes out his sword. He slices Frieza in half.

Episode 12 - The Mysterious Youth
First Aired: September. 05,2000

Frieza's ship has landed on Earth. The Z Fighters and Bulma manage to meet up near the landing site, and the situation is even worse than they feared. Backed-up by King Cold and a number of soldiers, Frieza is going to return the favor for what Goku did to him on Namek. Unfortunately, the Saiyan hero himself is still a no-show. Hope may exist in the form of a new warrior, though.

Episode 11 - Frieza's Counterattack
First Aired: September. 04,2000

Life on Earth has indeed returned to normal. Vegeta lands at Capsule Corp. and reports no luck in finding Goku. Meanwhile, Chi-Chi feels that a tutor can help Gohan with his studies. She later gives the tutor the boot, though, because he kept taking potshots at the missing Goku. A far bigger problem awaits out in space. The newly cybernetic Frieza is coming to Earth for revenge, and he's not alone. The Z Fighters know what they have to do, but without Goku, victory is impossible.

Episode 10 - Krillin's Proposal
First Aired: September. 01,2000

While on a shopping trip with Marron, Krillin is surprised to discover that she has marriage on her mind, meanwhile back at Kame house, Master Roshi claims that an emergency has become apparent that requires everyone to assemble at the turtle hermits dwelling. Once there they learn that the so called emergency is no more than a forgotten birthday, the turtle is 1000 years old. Later on, Krillin wonders whether he is good enough for Marron, hearing Krillin's dilemma, the turtle informs Krillin of the mermaid's tear, the worlds largest pearl, a gift worthy of royalty. Soon afterwards Gohan and Krillin venture into the vast unknown of the sea, and come across the legendary pearl, but the sea creatures surrounding the pearl are ready to defend it, with their lives. Krillin and Gohan return to Master Roshi's, and Marron leaves to enjoy the comforts of the beach, Krillin confronts her there and tells her it's over, Krillin revisits Kame house, with tears in his eyes, hidden by sunglasses.

Episode 9 - Brief Chance for Victory
First Aired: May. 27,2000

A lifetime in the Dead Zone may await Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Kami and Mr. Popo. Gohan's improvised forcefield offers Krillin and Piccolo protection, but he can't keep it up forever. Garlic Junior, meanwhile, is strong enough to resist the portal's pull. The offensive approach is necessary and Gohan unleashes a massive assault on the Makyo Star – destroying it. Garlic Junior's power is weakened, and he is quickly sent back into the Dead Zone permanently. Naturally, the three Z Fighters, Kami and Mr. Popo are relieved this crisis is finally over.

Episode 8 - The World Awakens
First Aired: May. 27,2000

Piccolo falls before Garlic Junior and Krillin is next. Gohan refuses to give up and shows Garlic Junior some real power. The Former Guardians continue their assault and seem to be out for blood. While enduring further pain, though, Kami manages to convince them to do what is best for Earth. With that crisis over, Kami and Mr. Popo get to the Sacred Water and release it. The Sacred Water cures everyone across Earth and – for them at least – thing return to normal. This defeat angers Garlic Junior to the extreme. He has one last recourse for revenge – reopen the Dead Zone portal and suck his enemies inside.

Episode 7 - Extreme Measures
First Aired: May. 20,2000

Kami's Lookout is further trashed by the ensuing battle. Piccolo takes on Garlic Junior, while Krillin and Gohan handle the Spice Boys. The fighting is fierce and the three Z Fighters may be out of their league. Meanwhile, Kami and Mr. Popo find unlikely obstacles to the Sacred Water – the spirits of Earth's previous guardians. They won't let anyone take the Sacred Water and will attack if provoked. Kami doesn't back off, though, and is viciously attacked. Even worse, this affects Piccolo at the worst possible time. Garlic Junior, however, is glad to take advantage.

Episode 6 - Suicidal Course
First Aired: May. 13,2000

Gohan is finally defeated and restrained. Garlic Junior savors obtaining his long-awaited chance for revenge against him and Goku for being trapped in the Dead Zone. However, his victory quickly proves short-lived. It turns out that Krillin and Piccolo tricked Garlic Junior. They're still good, and they were just waiting for the right moment to free Kami and Mr. Popo. Garlic Junior decides to make them all pay for this deception. The Makyo Star further allows such an opportunity. While the three Z Fighters brace for battle, Kami and Mr. Popo seek the Sacred Water deep within the Lookout. Unfortunately, time is running out on both fronts.

Episode 5 - Call for Restoration
First Aired: May. 06,2000

Piccolo and the Spice Boys are unrelenting and seem unstoppable. Krillin and Gohan need some help, and the closest kind is from the captured Kami and Mr. Popo. Freeing them certainly wouldn't hurt. While Gohan keeps fighting, Krillin takes a risk that brings him up close and personal with Garlic Junior. Unfortunately, Piccolo beats him back. By the time the dust settles, Krillin is also infected with the Black Water Mist and Gohan is on his own. He refuses to give up, but he may not have a choice.

Episode 4 - Fight with Piccolo
First Aired: April. 29,2000

The Black Water Mist has made Piccolo an uncontrollable monster. At Garlic Junior's insistence, the Spice Boys set him loose on Krillin and Gohan. The Spice Boys also intend to join in the fun. There is no one left to Krillin and Gohan now, so they give it their all. Gohan is forced to face the man that trained him, while Krillin tries to overcome all of the Spice Boys. Unfortunately, both Z Fighters just take serious beatings. Meanwhile, Garlic Junior enjoys the ensuing battle.

Episode 3 - Battle in Kami's Lookout
First Aired: April. 19,2000

The situation on Master Roshi's island continues to spiral out of control, but then Piccolo arrives to buy some time. Krillin, Gohan and Maron make their escape to put an end to this nightmare. Piccolo faces overwhelming odds.

With the help of the Spice Boys, Garlic Junior releases the Black Water Mist upon an unsuspecting world. As the dreaded fog spreads, so does Garlic Junior's control over the Earth!

Episode 1 - The Heavens Tremble

Gohan's going fishing, Krillin's found a girlfriend, and it looks as though peace has once again returned to the Earth. But a terrible evil lurks beneath this tranquil surface: Garlic Junior has escaped from the Dead Zone!
