Tate Season 1
Tate is an American Western television series that aired on NBC from June 8 until September 14, 1960. It was created by Harry Julian Fink, who wrote most of the scripts, and produced by Perry Como's Roncom Video Films, Inc., as a summer replacement for The Perry Como Show. Richard Whorf guest starred once on the series and directed the majority of the episodes. Ida Lupino directed one segment.

When Tetlow (Mort Mills) tries to take her property Mary Hardin (Julie Adams) asks Tate for help.
Tom Sandee is a bounty hunter. He mistakenly thinks Tate is wanted & is going after him.
Tate is forced into a gunfight & kills who is supposed to be the fastest in the territory.Now he must face Will Smith who wants to be # 1.
For Tate the civil war is over. With a severly crippled arm he returns to his boyhood home town to try to help a friend.
