Episode 1 - Christmas at River Cottage

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is preparing for his first Christmas at River Cottage. He’s decorated the bay leaf tree with fairy lights, harvested the sprouts from the vegetable garden and his Gloucester Old Spot pig is now a festive ham. Hugh plans to buy a goose from fellow smallholder Dave Roach. But will the bird make it to his Christmas table or will it be devoured beforehand by the local 'Cider Boys'?
