Einstein's school trip goes to the Stasi records archive. Ms. Miesbach deals with the topic of GDR flight and Ava works on a presentation about sports.

A visit from a contemporary witness also brings new details about the treasure hunt. Charlotte struggles with her fear of public speaking and Simon disappoints Leon.

Marlon helps Nesrin to recognize her feelings and Chiara confronts Elly. She wants to spend more time with Massuda and has a plan.

Leon is about to say goodbye and Chiara is stunned by a bed full of horse manure. Tahmina and her aunt Emilia have a heated argument.

A boring afternoon of games for Nesrin and Annika ends in a cool boarding school party, and without Massuda! Mr. Zech founds a new book club.

Elly plans an impromptu birthday party for Joshua. Leon doesn't feel like celebrating, he is plagued by longing, and Tahmina tries to keep a promise.
