The third season of Canada's Drag Race was officially announced on November 10, 2021 via Canada's Drag Race's social media. Casting opened the same day, with deadline of December 5, 2021. The cast of Canada's Drag Race Season 3 was officially announced on June 15, 2022. This season features contestants competing for the title of "Canada’s Next Drag Superstar", a cash prize of $100,000 CAD powered by Trojan, a crown and sceptre from Amped Accessories and a supply of beauty products from Shoppers Drug Mart.
