The demonic Host continues the search for his master, and Megumin may be the only one who can keep him from destroying Axel in the process.
A high-ranked demon has begun lurking the woods near Axel, and the local adventurers--including Megumin and Yunyun--are trying to do something about it.
Megumin reaches Axel to begin her career as an adventurer, but is finding that her explosion magic doesn't make her a good fit for most parties.
Traveling by coach to Axel, Megumin and Yunyun's peaceful journey is interrupted by a string of suspicious monster attacks.
Megumin has become acquainted with Father Zesta of the Axis Sect, just in time for him to be arrested thanks to a letter delivered by Yunyun. Can the two Crimson Demons repay his hospitality by proving his innocence?
After finally arriving in the city of water, Arcanretia, Megumin is once again having trouble saving up for the next leg of her journey. But she may have found an unexpected source of help in the Religious Order of Axis.
