Marcela, an accountant, finds herself all alone on her 51st birthday. To avoid feeling depressed on the day she should be celebrating, she decides to treat herself with moments of passion in the company of a male prostitute. Nevertheless, this will not turn out to be the best gift of the evening.
Bruno, in his wheelchair, is writing in his office when his concentration is disrupted by the constant banging of the plumber, who is working in the kitchen. The situation is resolved by sending him away, but Bruno is unaware of the man who hides behind the allegedly inoffensive plumber.
