The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Was an engaging movie up until the ending, when it ran off the rails and was disappointingly vague & floundering. Watching the directors narration still did not answer many obvious questions.
The film's narrative evolved in complexity to the point that different paralel narratives, the blending of past and present, identities and versions of the same stories made everything confusing. Some people got that it was very deep because it questioned the reliability and indeed the concept of memory, etc., etc. However a more clear narrative and another, confusing finale would have been desirable
THE MOVIE'S STORY AND EVENTS WERE NOT WELL DEFINED.IT WAS MORE LIKE ''WELL YOU CAN SEE THE STORY AS YOU LIKE'..BUT WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS FILM ,THAT IT WAS NOT THE USUAL GENRE OF WELL TOLD AND EXPLAINED CRIME THRILLERS(IE IT WAS A DIFFERENT AND REALLY THRILLING EXPERIENCE EVERY MOMENT} AND THE FILM PRODUCERS,CREW DID A WELL JOB IN ACHIEVING IT...
What a waste of time! I watched the whole movie to see how or who killed the girl and nothing was revealed in the end! it was so disappointing to know nothing! I was lucky that I drank good wine with the movie that make it a little bit less crappy! I give it 3 stars for the effort! 2 stars because Pierce Brosnan didn't sing like he did in mamma Mia! So now you know the end, enjoy watching this movie! Ideal if you have too much time!
