This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

I do not see how people can possibly not like this movie. The acting was about as good or better as any other movie. There was good direction. There was a great plot. There were plenty of good explosions.Anybody who likes twists should certainly enjoy this movie, (I won't say anymore on that subject).I hate the fact that so many people dislike simply because it is a Christian movie, it only barely is anyway.I was expecting something reasonably bad, because of what the reviews said, but when I saw how good it was, I simply frowned upon the bad reviews. This is a movie well worth watching.

Possible spoilers...as if that could happen with this gobbler. Right off the bat, I had three problems: 1) the tough lady cop looks like a fashion model; 2) the hero lives in a converted warehouse, complete with a cage-type elevator; 3) the dog dies. All about as hackneyed as it gets. Added along the way: another tough, gun-toting fashion-model, a girlfriend this time; some pretty unlikely plot elements; a trio of REALLY overacting crazy people; and a "shocking ending" which bounces around so much that any surprise ends up falling flat--particularly with the whacky Mel Brooks' "don't nobody move" flourish. Mix it all up with a heavy dose of third-rate Christian pop-psychology (I know, I know, that's redundant), and you got "Thr3e". And you can have it.Okay, that's a little harsh. There was some tension, some action, some effective atmosphere. So I give it 2 stars. I mean, it wasn't as bad as Paretti, but then Paretti's pretty BAD.Speaking of which, how about we get a new Rating Category: CT, for "Christian Themed"? So that those of us who don't buy into that particular brand of hocus-pocus can make better informed choices about what and what not to watch.

The word that came to mind as the curtain lowered on this opus. Unimaginative and ill-conceived, can we rip off anymore successful horror films please? Pretty please? After the first scene, I initially thought that the film was a parody; akin to the Wayans brothers' Scary Movie series. Boy, I wish that was the case. I kept waiting for the punchline to be delivered, or at least for the movie to be so schlocky that it became a cult-classic. But, this film is actually a serious attempt.. and not bad enough to be good, if that makes any sense. It's that painful kind of bad... the kind that just make you roll your eyes and wish for it to end.Saw rip off: torturing poorly written soliloquies equipped with raspy voice. Shoot reviewer in the head.Yet another multiple personality mindf**k movie (Primal Fear, Identity, fill in the blank): this one is not even close to clever.Characters aren't believable. How can you get involved in a film when you don't even care what happens to the characters. At all. Boo! Earns three stars out of the kindness of heart. Slick production and one or two mildly entertaining scenes saves it from totally blowing.

I am a pastor and when I heard Fox was doing Fox Faith to make Christian movies I must say I was excited. When a friend recommended this movie and I saw who wrote the book I was even more excited. However I gave the movie a 7 because it really wasn't a Christian movie. Aside from a few vague references to the Bible and to the power of God it really played out more like a psychological type thriller. It wasn't a bad movie and I hope Fox Faith does indeed make some films that are truly Christian but I don't think this one really counts. I am not saying it's a bad movie and I am not saying anything against the writer of the book or the film in general. I would say it keeps you guessing a bit and the end surprised me which doesn't happen with a lot of movies. So I would suggest it just for an older audience but don't expect it to be a Christian movie.
