Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Necrophilis is a scifi original dealing with an evil factory who produces trioxine and now a new generation of teens must take them on before they poison the entire world. While I appreciate the effort to give us a resident evil knockoff, it has none of the charm or style and good acting that made it a block buster. The kids are all good looking twenty year olds who attend high school, use four wheelers and walkies talkies to break in as if it were a walk in the park. The rules set up for the last there films are forgotten as a head shot now kills them and the has leaking from containers doesn't turn you into a zombie. It undermines the foundation these sequels are created on and could've easily been rewritten without hurting the pacing. It even rehashed the poor of three to use them in chemical warfare without worrying they could swell their numbers and take over the world.Acting wise it was standard television movie quality with stone cold faces and monotone voices. The chemistry was there in a few sequences, but their acting chops hadn't developed to keep it flowing. With a few rewrites, a new caste and a punk or alternative soundtrack it would be a fine sequel. The way it stands a guilty pleasure.

Why? Just ....just why? This film, and the one that proceeded it are just too horrible for words. The first Return is a classic of the zombie genre, the second one sucked, the third was alright, but still not great, and then they released this tepid pile of crap. Almost nothing makes sense throughout this entire movie. How soldiers could be so stupid to let a group of teenagers into a government facility the way they do is beyond me. And you'll be rooting for every single character in this movie to die in horribly painful ways. Their is not a likable person among them at all. And remember the zombies from the second Resident Evil movie? Yeah, me too. They make an appearance near the end in a how the hell did they get away with this without copyright infringement rip off. If you're gonna see ANY movie in this series, stick with parts one and three. Skip the second fourth and fifth films. You'll wish a zombie were chomping on YOUR brain otherwise.

It really comes down to choice I guess. However one word describes this movie.....crap. There are so many flaws in this movie it is not even funny. Zombies goes down with a bullet to the belly, there motivation now is not to eat brains, but to fight. Fight you know like Bare knuckle fighting or specifically in this movie high school slapping. The story was so bad and all over the place that any studio should use this movie as a reason to make sure they check the scripts 5 times before funding. The acting is well...acting. When I watch movies like this, I always think some spoilt little, big mouth kid has begged like a little wiener to get his budget and loans to make his so-called 'HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER' movie...THE NEXT BIG THING.Some movies just shouldn't be make let alone associated with a classic spoof like in this case.

I expected the worst when I heard this movie was premiering on the Sci-Fi channel. I am a huge fan of campy horror films and this one was really good. Initially, I thought this was a made-for-TV movie. After I noticed it was released on DVD I figured, I liked the other ones, "Why not at least give this one a shot?" It was definitely not shot with TV in mind. It met my expectations for a film like this, yeah, it's bad, but in a good way. Yeah, it has bad acting, but who are we kidding? We aren't looking for Oscar-winning performances in a film like this. While it doesn't have the same charm as Return Of The Living Dead or the sequel. It still made me chuckle more than a couple times and had enough gore to please gore fans.I give it 5 out of 10.
