Charming and brutal
Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
I really enjoyed the scenery, the beautiful Paros (as I am Greek) and the actors are very talented and they made me laugh a little. But as a Greek I didn't enjoy the irony against the Greek culture. Phrases as "Greece is the cradle of...well I don't know" really were useless...as the movie was shot in Greece, they had to respect the country. The purpose of the movie is to show the "superiority" of Italian culture and talking about Colosseum? Well that was something I didn't like... Anyway, despite of all the above I think is worth watching because is an interesting and a well filmed movie with a lot realistic parts. Especially in relationships. Raoul Bova is a great actor and I believe that he gave "bonus" to the whole movie. He has a comic talent.
Sequel to the one about the old compagni di scuola who had to take their exams over, now finds the chums on a holiday in Paros in Greece.Bright colours, sunny scenery and minimally clad women tend to get more attention than name players, including Bobulova and Zingaretti. Much competing to stand out in the ensemble. Before the inevitable sunny conclusion, attention wanders with the extended sub plots cheating spouses, cancer victim, shop lifter, text message romance.Passable popular entertainment doesn't convince as anything more than a simple minded attempt to grab a wide audience.
