Why so much hype?
Save your money for something good and enjoyable
Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
It wasn't that it was a bad film, but it is heavily biased. They quite often explain how views are wrong, then don't explain why. This is basically a collection of people's opinions without very much evidence. One of the things I really wished was covered in any documentary of this type is the fact that humans have been convinced they are living in the end times since as early as the year 100 AD. It amazes me that we as a species are still doing this. If you look at how many end time predictions we have survived it's over 300. You'd think by now we might have learned our lesson.One of the great mysteries of the bible is that it can almost mean whatever you want it to mean. Allegorical stories are great like that.
This is an excellent documentary focusing on Biblical Prophecy. I totally agree with Chelsie_Fuller's review so I won't cover those points. In fact, the only reason that I am writing this review (and the reason for the spoiler alert) is that the last five sentences of this documentary (IMHO) are the most profound and important sentences that I have ever heard on film, and I want to make note of them here."Your time within this world is passing away. And every day you are making a choice. A choice to seek the truth, or reject it. A choice to pursue eternal life. Or the choice to pass away, with the world you love so much."Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life.
I cried when I was done watching this movie. Everything in here makes so much sense and I couldn't find a single piece of evidence that I could argue with. The facts and discoveries presented here really make you stop and think about how human history really played out and made me look at the religious conflicts of the world today in an entirely new light. Not with hate or who was right or who was wrong from the viewpoint of a globally united world and it related to prophecy. This film so dead on accurate in regards to what is happening on the world today it gave me chills. Keep an open mind while watching this film because it really is all true!
