The setup: With graduation looming, 4 friends get together for one last weekend. But a lot has changed since they were freshman roommates and the secrets are about to come out. This will be no ordinary girls' weekend. And when the boys show up, it only throws fuel on the fire. CHEESECAKE CASSEROLE is about the friendships that make us crazy, and the lengths you'll go to never leave them behind. It's about the people who know you when you've become a stranger to yourself, and the strength they give us to change our lives.The verdict: With style, charm, and humor to spare, this film was among the top echelon of movies from 2012.
I, as a few others have mentioned, couldn't watch the whole movie. The storyline was interesting; however, the acting spoiled it for me in the first 10 minutes. It would have helped if the actors were the age of their roles. I thought it would be a light, easy movie to watch but turned it off within the first half hour. Sorry. I even recognized the one actress from True Blood, which I love, so I thought it might hold my interest. I do realize they were graduating from college, not high school, but it just seemed like they were acting, or trying to act, as if they were high school seniors - drinking, smoking pot, giggling about boyfriends, etc. It may be to other's liking; just not my cup of tea.
