The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to Americas ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him--who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world.

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Sooo I guess what this guy is saying is that all children who grow up without a parent is perplexed as he makes Obama appear! It's proven that fathers make a bigger impression on little girls than their mothers, vice versa mothers make the biggest impression on sons. So that refutes this whole documentary right there. I don't consider documentary a point-of-view or a side, but I appreciate the thirsty reaching this guy did in drilling through his life. The documentary has a political bent to it and I don't particularly care too much about either republican or democrats tactics in 2016 because I trust neither one. I wonder how this documentary would sound if made today. That's not a question, just an observation. I don't too much listen to crap said about Hillary nor Donald nor anyone else because it's all riled up in lies, controversy and greed to get at one position in this country. Truly there's been no President who's done everything even nearly right which is why our politics is the way it is today, so to tear down any one is to dear down them all! Who is the worst, in my opinion the sitting President we have now. Who is the best will always and forever be open for speculation!

Dinesh D'Souza has to perform a lot more community service for breaking campaign- finance laws than he thought, with a federal judge saying that D'Souza has to do eight hours each week for the entire five years he's on probation and not just the eight months he was confined to a halfway house. The judge also read aloud a report from a court-appointed psychologist who called D'Souza "arrogant" and "intolerant of others' feelings."D'Souza pleaded guilty last year to illegally shelling out $20,000 in contributions in the name of others for Republican Wendy Long's failed 2012 bid to defeat Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

Very good documentary about a very controversial President by a man that shares many similarities with Obama but none of the leftist, anti- colonial, anti-Christian, anti-capitalist biases of the President. I can't wait to see his new one; America: Imagine the World without Her. This documentary looks at Obama's background, influences, thinking, and actions and projects what kind of America we might have if he gets his way. The good thing is that no one ever gets his way for very long. For example: The third Reich only lasted a couple of Decades. In this country we still have many more checks and balances than did Germany. Never the less, it still is a troubling thought to think that we elected a man with such un-American ideas but what does one expect when post- modernism, hedonism, and leftist ideology dominate the nations universities. . It's really too bad that more documentaries aren't produced like this. Like most good movies and documentaries, I had to purchase my own copy because they are just not readily available in smaller markets. It would have been nice to see it on the big screen. Fortunately, the new movie is on the big screen and I hope to see it.

This documentary is in large part a work of fiction. There is some facts involved: yes Obama was born in Hawaii and yes he spent some of his childhood in Kenya. But to say that his absentee father, who he met only twice, influenced him to become anti-colonialism and anti-American is at best, completely one man's opinion, and at worst, completely bogus. Obama haters want to believe these lies about Obama and that is the motivation for this film. (And it came out soon before the election. Hmmmm... what a coincidence). The truth is that they are not grounded in anything except opinion, biased opinion at that. If Obama is really going to accomplish the things that D'Souza claims, he needs to get really busy. Yes, I actually have the crazy idea that Obama, the president of the United States, actually wants to see the United States succeed, not fail. When the predictions in this movie don't come to pass, will D'Souza and his D'Souzites own up to it? I think I know the answer to that already.
