Why so much hype?
Admirable film.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
hello boys and girls... this isn't your regular movie review, because this is going to be the cold. hard. truth. are you serious? this movie sucked so many balls i couldn't keep them out of my mouth! they might as well have sprayed me in the eye with monkey semen. you'd need one seriously large douche to pump out all the vaginal fluid from this movie.the plot was very lacking. the actors were terrible. i rewound the dance number several times and had to pause it even more because i was choking on my own spit. do boys, everyone!peace R&H besties4lyf
i think i will give this 1 out of 10..because the only thing i really liked in it was the end song..i mean..altho it has a great message for younger girls..you know.."you can do any thing you set your mind to" or whatever..i agree with the person giving the first comment..not saying that others don't work hard for other types of music but i highly doubt you can get into a classical music conservatory singing "a yellow rose of Texas" . and you can't even pass high school choir with out being able to read notes..and is it just me or was miss.spears mentioned just a few to many times hehe. the set up kind of looked like a armature movie maker made it too..however the actors and actresses were wonderful and i absolutely LOVE the song at the end...i bought the movie just for the song lol
This movie is entertaining enough due to an excellent performance by Virginia Madsen and the fact that Lindsey Haun is lovely. However the reason the movie is so predictable is that we've seen it all before. I've haven't read the book A Mother's Gift but I hope for Britney and Lynne Spears sake it is completely different than this movie. Unless you consider ending a movie with what is essentially a music video an original idea, the entire movie brings to mind the word plagiarized.
This movie was one of a kind yes i doubt it will win a oscar but i think that all the actress and actors did a great job considering what they had and had to do with it. Yes i know this was all about the book Britney Spears and her mom wrote but give her a break all she wanted to do was share her dream with the rest of the world and try to inspire others to follow theirs. i would have loved to have the chance to do they did. Nick Roth was amazing to i hope to see him in some other films and become as big as Brad Pitt one day. Lindsey Lohen has a amazing career aheld of her and no one can deprive her of that. So all those who want to say that this movie was nothing and should not be on the air i would love to see you go out and do it and when you do feel free to email me and i will be sure to check it out and comment on your dream.. so all the people who think you know it all just step back and let people live their dreams who knows one day you might gain something from it.. so before you judge try to judge yourself
