This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

This was a heart-warming, wonderful family movie. It is the type of movie that I'd watch over and over. It really brings home the plight of the American family and teaches us to strive for more family unity - so very important especially in these days. People are busy, too busy....something has to give and it's usually family time. Dad works, mom works, the kids spend a lot of time alone. This movie shows us how very important it is to bring back the quality of family life in America. We've lost so much, but can be saved. We just need someone to show us how. Uncle Nino does a very good job of this. We need more Uncle Ninos......we need a more family-centered life to exist in the US again. This movie can help serve as a blueprint. Bravo!!

i really enjoyed this movie. it is pleasant and heart-warming. you go out of the movie with a feeling of hope that everything will be okay. i was an extra in the battle of the bands scene, which was awesome. finally seeing it after about two years was such a reward for me. i think that it is a great movie. everyone in your family can see it. it's one of those movies that the whole family will truly enjoy--I guarantee it. GO SEE IT!!!!!! There may not be a lot of big shot celebrities in it, but all of the actors are very talented. the story take you through the life of the Miceli family, who just like the modern day family never really has time to sit down, talk, or even get together. Then Uncle Nino comes to America for the first time from Italy, and teaches his family how to live again. This is a truly good hearted story that everyone will enjoy and like.

Life seems to be flying by and no one seems to care about anyone but themselves and their own selfish gain. Doesn't that sound like a lot of the world today? Sorry to say I think it does. We all need to slow down, re-evaluate our priorities and not put ourselves first. I think this movie really makes you stop and think about your own life and what you have placed as number one in your life. The world needs to see this movie with this message and I hope it goes nation wide with a great response. Little things can make a difference in the life those around you.Great movie.

Millions of Americans have been saying we need a film like this. You've all heard them: your neighbors, fellow workers, relatives..... and here it is. What a refreshing, wonderful film for all to see. A movie that doesn't have to resort to foul language, inappropriate scenes, baseless scripting and all the other unwelcome intrusions into our lives. And the message it gives is timeless, but especially pertinent in these times. Family values, love, caring, acceptance, what's REALLY important in life. I've heard comments from people that have seen it and they all said it was good. From children to adults, everyone wanted to meet "Uncle Nino" after the performance and take a little part of him home with them. People left the movie with a warm, cozy feeling and a smile on their face. I'll see this movie again and I hope to see more movies like it. Thanks, Uncle Nino ! !
