A quiet town is jumpstarted by the arrival of an enigmatic family; a statuesque mother named Louisa and her gorgeous teenage sons. Sixteen Year-Old Hilary is working hard to get good grades, hoping to escape the small town life a long line of relatives lived before her. With the arrival of the mysterious family just weeks before school is to let out, life suddenly becomes appealing. Hilary's father is instantly charmed by Louisa, while she herself finds a strong connection to middle son Kadin, ignoring her dubious instincts. As the town falls under the hypnotic spell of the young men, no one but Hilary sees the peculiar loyalty that holds them together and the lengths they will go to give their mother what she needs until it's far too late.

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This is an amazing little horror movie, highly recommended to all the genre fans. For the budget this low, it has turned out great. It is about a quiet town which is overturned by the arrival of a family whose intentions are not clear. I loved it because of its mystery elements, which are backed up by a great story and believable acting. The main character is played by the charismatic Connie Saltzman (for whom I've honestly never heard before), and she did her role fantastically. I wish there are more good movies with her and I will definitely look out for more work from this director.

I was so excited to see Jane from the GoGo's in this and I would have killed to have her as my math teacher. This movie was gorgeous, a work of art, beautiful like a watercolor painting, that I even forgot I was watching a horror movie. By the end it reminded me with a major violent, shocking end to the story that was sad, but also satisfying. This for me was totally like the movies "Lost Boys" put together with a bit of Chic Flicks and add some "Stranger Things" and I love HoneyBee for being the first horror movie recently to get into the whole 80s vibe again and set the tone. Love it!

This is for sure a B horror movie so don't expect a lot of crazy special effects or anything. I actually appreciated that because I'm so distracted by them when they aren't done right. It looked like in this movie the brothers were actually fighting and that being said, the fight scenes were very well done and didn't drag out too long either. It had a kind of rawness to it. However someone of it was really campy like the the cliché of a small town and a boring high school. Yeah yeah yeah we get it, it's a small town. The math teacher who is a punk rocker in real life was actually a nice wink. The acting overall was pretty good and the film LOOKS really nice. It doesn't look like a horror movie it looks like a sweet romance. The story was unique and I did not guess the ending so for me, that means it's good. But I have a lot of issues with not having all the answers and again, the cliché of the small town. How OLD is Louisa actually? Are the twins actually the oldest brothers? Is Hilary now like Louisa in the end and will have to live that way? A very fun film though, I give it 6 out of 10.

The director had good taste when they were casting the actors. The family of boys and their mom actually look so much alike, and they move alike, they sound alike, and that is sweet because in other movies when they don't look alike its hard for me to follow the story because I don't believe anything. But in this I was like looking up everybody to see whose related to each other. The actress playing Hilary I would like to ask her hand in marriage, oh swerve doe, she was amazing. Some of the acting was kind of cheesy with the blond girls but maybe they were supposed to be stereotyped like that or something? I figured out the family is like a group of creatures and they go from town to town quietly so the mother can feed and they're all sneaky and charming. I bought it and it's good and I'll watch it again.
