n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

I saw this movie the other night at a private screening in Washington, DC... (Great theater by the way) and I have to say I was soooo impressed by this film. The acting was tight, the story weaved like an old yarn should, the direction was really well done and the camera work was beautiful. I just loved my film going experience. I wish more movies were like this one. Smart, creepy, funny and bizarre.Mick McGuire as Jim Shoemaker was so creepy, but Joe Estevez really freaked me out. Martin Sheen, is Joe's older brother, and you can see the acting genes flow in that family like water in a stream...Joe was the best. Suzi Lorraine the B-movie Scream Queen played The Founder. She was off putting and really evil. Nadia Williams plays Suzi's sister "The Head Nurse" and those two ladies should have a movie on their own. My God, Creepers, Creepers Everywhere!!The Director Michael Merino said the film will be in wide release on VOD, I-Tunes, Amazon and Cable by May 2012...I highly suggest you watch this movie, its not to violent with little too no gore. And just enough nudity to satisfy the real creepers of this world.Well Done MCMFILMS.

This movie was not a blood bath, or overtly violent. And thats a GREAT thing! As a woman it's nice to see a film that takes womens points of views into mind. It was beautifully shot, well directed and the acting was superb. It had something known as dialogue...yes actual words were spoken and a story being told. Not just a bunch of naked girls running about covered in blood, and overly moronic characters. The haunting of Pearson Place It is a totally engaging story and asks that the viewer think. When was the last time you were asked to do that? And its entertaining...the best of both worlds, with humor to match...I loved it, its a BEAUTIFUL HORROR.

I was fortunate to be at a private viewing in a wonderful theater for the feature film, The Haunting of Pearson Place last evening. And I for one, am a huge fan of this movie. Wow, well done to all the cast and crew. It's Crisp, Raw and Freaky. And I loved it! I read a few of the positive reviews on the page and agree with them all. I also read the "critic review" and I must say that "critic" is so far off base that I question his or her's pedigree. The Haunting of Pearson Place is a linear story that is well acted, directed and wonderfully shot. Frankly, if most "horror" films (This one is classified as a Supernatural thriller/Horror, with comedic elements) were like Pearson Place I would watch more of them. A lot more of them.As a fan of "Arthouse" films, I wasn't expecting much from the film when I was invited along by a friend, and to my surprise I was treated to a well crafted film. Kudos to all.

The Haunting at Pearson Place is superbly acted, directed and really, really….funny. It's smart horror film that knows how to be truly entertaining by not taking itself too seriously. Regen Wilson is a master with reactions – one annoyed glance from him and the audience was in stitches. Ken Arnold and Tracey Teague were also excellent as the beleaguered couple under attack by the strange creatures inhabiting Pearson Place. Joe Estevez was also a riot as the constantly underfoot interloper (he was either a realtor or the caretaker – I can't remember which, but he was a delightful and creepy pain in the ass). A funny, creepy, thoroughly entertaining film that will not only hold up under multiple viewings but has great potential to become a cult classic.
