In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Poor story, really bad script, really bad acting. If a random group of young people with no particular talent are asked to make an erotic, "female serial killer" movie, this is about what they could come up with. The attractive nudes, including one of Misty Mundae's earliest roles, brings it up a notch to a 3. But then the gratuitous extra bad acting by Ed Wood veteran Conrad Brooks takes it back down to a 2. If it included actual porno footage (of the real cast) I might have rated it a 4.The DVD gets extra credit for misstating the plot on the DVD cover (guess the writer didn't have the patience to watch the whole thing), saying that Nora (a grimacing Roxanne Michaels) tempts the young female students into ... whatever... Nope, psycho Nora's only interested in the men.My "favorite" part, about 30 seconds after brother Nikko has already been "taking care of the other one", Nora shouts out "Take care of the other one"! I also mildly enjoyed listening to the college student, who signed up for a poetry class, reading aloud at a 2nd grade level. The DVD cover prominently features Misty Mundae. She's cute, looks about 15, but is only in for a few minutes after the halfway point.

The film is alright. The plot isn't the best, but you get what you pay for here. At least you get some erotic poetry and satisfactory boobage. Save for a rainy day, and probably rent before buying. Also, this film is probably better watched with a large group of your peers. The actors and actresses are all pretty bad. None of them seem to be trained thespians at all. Donnie Suave, who plays "Jerome," steals the show with his excellent dialogue and muscular physique. The soundtrack is exemplary. The musical stylings of composer Michel Quimpel more than make up for the lack of special effects both visually and audibly.

this is one of the most awful low budget films i've ever seen, i think the point was to exploit some college girls here. If they wanted to make a softcore porno, why not go all the way and make it X-Rated? it's a complete waste of time, hardly anything is shown as far as skin is concern so don't even bother.

*Minor Spoilers*I had to see the premier of this move back in 1999 at William Patterson University in New Jersey. The entire film was done on the campus and I went to see it because I knew a person in it. Unfortunately, he is strangled to death in one of the opening scenes leaving me to sit through this nonsensical and seemingly endless film. Poetic Seduction (as it was called when I saw it) is an near constant stream of stranglings and awkward attempts at sex sequences. I had the interesting experience of sitting near the woman at the premere. It is odd when the character having incestuous sex on screen is sitting next to you and laughing at the mistakes in filming. The scary part is, when I mentioned that this was the worst movie I had ever seen, the person I knew simply laughed and said "I hope so!" Overall, Poetic Seduction is a horribly acted, nonsensical, stupid movie.
