For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Amazing theatrical performances of songs along with interviews illustrate biographical points. The film does a great job of bringing out the intensity of the songs and the passionately idealistic nature of the singer.
