Sadly Over-hyped

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

After twenty minutes of length, I asked myself: "where have I seen this woman before?". I was pretty convinced it was in one of the "Scary Movies", and I was right. Jenny McCarthy and Chris Eigeman play two lonely adults who face problems with sex and relationships in general. One interesting thing to notice is that woman can pass months and months without having sex, whilst we, men in general, cannot. The way director chose to film this picture is very original, mixing self talking with normal talking. There are plenty of funny scenes, mostly built with clever thoughts about life and love, not letting spectator down or anything-- actually, most of the time we are laughing or smiling. As a romance, it is no big thing, but for comedy and entertainment without having to turn your brain off, it is GREAT! Congratulations Matthew Miller and cast.

I work the graveyard shift at a hotel, there really isn't much to do during that time so I was flipping through the channels on the TV in the office and came across this movie. I thought, "What the heck." To my surprise, I found myself caught up in it at apparently the most pivotal point. (Never can get in on the beginning of the good ones.)I was shocked to find that I actually like Jenny McCarthy as an actress. I just always thought I wouldn't like, no particular reason, just thought that. And let's not forget about Chris Eigeman. Can we say cute!! Actually my type of guy in a romantic lead....I love it.This movie is fantastic. I love how it shows that life can be ironic. I recommend this movie highly!

I'd heard about this movie on some chat show or something where Jenny McCarthy was talking about it, but had never heard anything other than that, however I caught it on TV today and was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.While I thought both leads were very good, and I love Paul Dooley, what I really liked about this movie is that I think it was made for an "adult" audience, meaning an audience sophisticated enough to accept people who are somewhat flawed as romantic leads, and who can appreciate a plot which is not written in crayon. This movie does not follow the traditional romantic comedy plot line and I found that very intriguing.I'd definitely watch it again!

i saw this movie on TV and also enjoyed it very much, a great movie to see with the girls and those guys that don't mind a bit of girly talk and wit dialog.it's not so much for the comical side (although it had great moments, not loud laughs but those that stay inside and make you giggle) but for the way this boy meets girl flick presented the whole meeting thing. the dialogue is very natural, not that i would talk that way, but is does seem credible. some quotes are worth remembering, as i always say, cause you never know in what kind of situation you are going to put yourself into. it's good to have a reply ready.i really liked jenny, mostly for the fact, that she is dressed up to her neck for the entire movie and not showing off her silicon breasts. she can act, good for her, she might have a brilliant future in the movies.
