Admirable film.
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Everything from the opening number to the final song is terrible in this piece of trash. The story, concept, acting, and "jokes" are simply cringe-worthy. I have watched enough Filipino movies to be forgiving with some things, but this movie is far beyond repair. Not only that, the production value and cinematography looks like it was put together by an amateur. What were they thinking?I honestly don't understand why this garbage even made it to the silver screen without anyone saying anything. This movie further proves that GMA films will never be capable of producing something that is remotely watchable.
