Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

This was an amazing low budget film!!No big name actors but decent acting from the cast. The story was interesting. It moves right along with little to no unnecessary side scenes. The set was decent. The effects, for the most part, in my opinion, were nicely executed and avoided moments of super chessiness. My only problem was the sound. It may have just been the video I was viewing but the audio to picture sync fell apart halfway through the film. I would recommend this. Check it out. .....One other thing, one of the male characters sounded EXACTLY like Matthew McConaughey!!

I haven't the slightest clue as to why people infer this movie has anything to do with superheroes. It certainly does not, not even in the slightest context, other than perhaps someone saying the word "superhero" and someone mentioning something about Aquaman. (I suppose that saying "zombie" in a movie that has nothing to do with zombies makes it a zombie movie?)There are no superheroes of any kind, only exploding people, and well, also a person that sort of accidentally teleports their arm and then dies, which also counts as an explosion in a way, or at least an "explosion" of blood. The actors aren't really acting so much as just saying their lines, and the movie actually looks as if it doesn't have a director, which creates a sort of curious effect throughout. It is more interesting, to an extent, than a lot of other movies at this level of budget and competence. Ironically, the most obnoxious character (who makes the movie almost unwatchable) is also the one with the only memorable lines. What happens in this movie: One, people standing around arguing about whether or not to take a pill. Two, people standing around discussing what sort of effect the pill might have on them. Three, people exploding and leaving parts of themselves in the air, on the floor, or on the wall. And there you have it.

So I'm a little disappointed that studios feel like us IMDb users are so stupid that we would fall for reviews that are made by people who just joined IMDb and only have 1 review of said material. Please stop! That being said, this movie wasn't too awfully bad. Yes there are a few poorly acted scenes (British guy being the worst offender) and some scenes that were unnecessary (the debate over whether to take the pill), but I still have to say that I was entertained throughout. The movie really takes off after the first person has the first reaction to the pill (burp). While the CGI was definitely sub-par, it got the job done and I didn't laugh too much about it. We've all seen worse, believe me. Once the movie gets going it's a wild ride all the way through to the end. I do not feel anyone would be wasting their time seeing it; especially Sci-Fi/Superhero movie fans.In conclusion, while the movie does reach the "cheesy" level quite a few times, I was left smiling and would actually recommend it to my geek friends. Totally worth a rent!6/10

Yea, I could probably nick a half-a-star or more off of this for trivial reasons, but goddammit this was highly entertaining. The characters are circumscribed well, if a bit cartoonish, but they are played with real commitment and so anyone with heart will go with that aspect. The "physicist" among them was charming and manic and had a great close-out in the end credits.I liked this as much as I did "Coherence" and "Chronicle" (and others like "Primer,") with the bonus that the superhero and the time-travel conceits were included in one movie. If you're just looking to get your fantasy stroked, this movie will do just fine.
