It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
The movie really just wants to entertain people.

This contains all the makings of any afterschool special -- boys hanging out in the afternoon with video games, ailing family members at home and grumpy shopkeepers out to get them -- but the trip through history, with authentic cars and songs, keeps it interesting.
