Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Very intense drama/horror. Depicts the realities of what one goes through as mental illness plays on your being. Every character represents a symptom of mental illness. Fear, medicated, trapped, manipulated, pain, loneliness, suspicion etc... It all seems very innocent in the beginning. As you watch Kenneyville and knowing the underlining meaning of mental illness, it makes you have an appreciation for what one must go through. If you know someone who is suffering of symptoms of mental illness, this may help you understand more deeply what it feels like for them. Hold this thought as you watch Kenneyville!
