Half in the Bag Season 5

It’s episode 100 of Half in the Bag! Mike, Jay, and their new friend Kris Kringle celebrate this momentous event by participating in a normal episode and see the newest Star Warts movie. Lightsabers!

Merry Krampus, everyone! Mike and Jay talk about the latest Christmas-themed horror film Krampus, as well as all the shitty no budget Krampus knock-offs that have come out this year. Also, Mr. Plinkett’s back!

Mike and Jay finally reach the top of Mt. Everest to fix Mr. Plinkett’s VCR or whatever. Unfortunately, Mr. Plinkett is nowhere to be found so the guys are forced to talk about movies. It’s Creed and Victor Frankenstein!

Mike and Jay continue to sit on Mt. Everest as they discuss a bunch of movies they’ve seen so far this year that they haven’t discussed already.

Mike and Jay take a break while climbing Mt. Everest to talk about Everest. They are on their way up to Mr. Plinkett’s house on the top. Even though he climbed down in a recent episode to kill them. Now I guess he went back up and wants his VCR fixed! Hey! He lives up there, what do you want him to do? Stay in a motel? He can’t afford that! But he can afford to spend lots of money trying to fix a VCR to watch an old TV show from the 80’s.

Mike and Jay prepare to make a visit of their own before discussing two new movies, The Visit and Turbo Kid.

Mike and Jay talk extensively about a movie that’s already come out and flopped and been forgotten, American Ultra.

Mike and Jay attempt to see Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, but are unable to. Josh Trank himself buys Mike and Jay tickets to see Fantastic Four. They are the only people in the theater. Not just their theater, but every theater in the nation.

Mike and Jay (along with Rich and Jack) attempt to comprehend the thought process that would go into creating a lazy, creatively-bankrupt film such as Adam Sandler’s “Pixels”. But more importantly, the gang analyzes and differentiates the phrases “for some reason” and “for no reason.”

Mike and Jay talk about Ant-Man while minding the video game repair shop. This is part one of a two part episode! OMG!

Mike and Jay talk about the stupid new Terminator movie.

Mike and Jay settle in to their new positions as employees of the video game repair shop then discuss the latest reboot/re-imagining/remake/re-sequel Jurassic World.

Mike and Jay sneak back into the VCR repair shop to pick up some treasured DVDs as well as talk about their thoughts on the new Mad Max film, Fury Road. Spoilers: it’s fucking awesome.

Mike and Jay finally return to the VCR repair shop to discover a horrifying secret. They also watch Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Mike and Jay check out Unfriended and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 because they hate themselves.

Jay and Mike somehow see It Follows and Furious 7 while floating in Mr. Plinkett’s house in the sky which is held up by a balloon filled with his farts which is not lighter than air so that wouldn’t happen anyway. I guess Jay and Mike downloaded the movies and watched them on a TV with a broken screen or on Jay’s Ipad which we’ve never seen and he wouldn’t be able to charge anywhere. God this show SUCKS!

Finally free from the depths of Lake Michigan, Mike and Jay talk about Neil Blomcrap’s latest film Chappie.

Still at the bottom of Lake Michigan, Mike and Jay pass the time by discussing the latest Wachowski siblings flop Jupiter Ascending, as well as the comparable sci fi flop Battlefield Earth starring John Travolta.

While a North Korean missile approaches the bottom of Lake Michigan Mike and Jay discuss the latest PT Barnum joint, Inherent Vice, then talk about the 2015 Oscar nominations; proving why they’ve never discussed previous years’ Oscar nominations.
