Under the Radar Michigan Season 7

You know, North by Northwest is one of my favorite Alfred Hitchcock Movies … It’s also one of my favorite parts of Michigan’s Mitten … Heck, Cary Grant was even from here … right ??? Well, that may not be true … but what is true is that northwest Lower Michigan is one of the most pleasing places you can put your person on the entire planet. And if Cary Grant was from here … he’d be plenty proud. Everywhere you turn there’s beautiful natural surroundings, great towns to explore, awesome people doing incredible things, and of course … a cavalcade of culinary delights. You could spend a lifetime loving this part of our great state … but we’ve only got a half hour … so, let’s git’er goin.

On this awesome installment of UTR, we celebrate our 100th episode. Yep, believe it or not, we’ve shared 100 of these shows with you guys. And the more we make, the more we wanna keep going. If you drive south, then east in Michigan, you come to a part of the state that has a very distinctive name. It’s called “Southeast Michigan” and it holds the state’s highest helping of humans … and that’s why there’s always something happening here. That’s right, when you collect this many cool and creative people in one place awesome things are bound to happen and that’s why we’re back with five more fabulous finds that will have you heading here in a hurry.

On this outdoor episode of UTR, we explore many of Michigan’s great parks. First, we head downriver for some wonderful wildlife, and up the sunrise side for a walk on the moon. Then we show you a lake in the Clouds in the UP, an ancient island on Lake Michigan, a Detroit gem, and some sandy dunes in the southwest. Get ready to explore some of the cool parks that make Michigan a great place to be outside!

You know, Michigan has so many incredible iconic brands that it would be virtually impossible and borderline irresponsible to just pick four. But you know us ... we’re totally irresponsible! These classic Michigan munchables have stood the test of time, because time and time again, we pick them as our favorites. Then, we’ll show you some folks who are using the bicycle to help make social change.
