I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much

Just perfect...

Great Film overall

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Katee Sackhoff stars as Nikki, the girl in the title. After being out of prison for four months, she gathers three of her ex-lovers in a bar. She was found not guilty of killing her stalker, then boyfriend by reason of insanity. Her criminal lawyer and now fiancee Bert (William Baldwin) shows up with her. The characters are Zach (Seth Green) her first love. There is also Miranda (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Marvin (Harold Perrineau). Each of the her three former lovers represent one aspect of the title or Nikki's psyche.While they wait for her arrival, the three tell stories about how crazy and enchanting Nikki was in their lives. The stories barely held my interest, but I was drawn in by wanting to know where this film, with a jazz opening, was headed. The movie involves telling stories and playing head games at the table. It is more of a five man play.The film is clever and there are times when I think it is clever for the sake of being clever. This is for those who like a smart indy and "My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult."Parental Guide: F-bomb. Brief sex. No nudity.

I actually think this was a great movie. The plot twists with the best of them, taking the emotional load with it.In the same vein as other movies of its kind such as My Dinner with Andre and Before Sunrise, Sexy Evil Genius was superbly brought to life through the power of the actors and the dialogue alone.It's pretty tough to keep things in a movie such as this both unpredictable and believable. We don't know what's going on inside the minds of anyone and neither do the characters in this story. Yet we have these customs, these social tools used to interact with people to get through day to day life predictably. We see this play out as strangers meet and talk and get to know each other. These customs begin to break down and become useless as someone stops following the rules. The characters are left with rapidly changing speculation and mounting anxiety as the story plays out.I had just two problems with the film. One where a firearm's barrel was touched directly by the skin not even a minute after it was fired more than once. The other when a woman who was viciously assaulted by a large angry man was left without even a bruise.This is a definite must see for anyone who enjoys some good drama where the action is primarily expressed in words.One final note, I'm happy to see that homosexuality in film has reached the point where no matter whether people enjoyed the film or not, it's not thought abnormal enough to be worth commenting on. A normal, acceptable part of our culture :)

"Sexy Evil Genius" is a Comedy/Drama with snappy dialog that moves quickly from scene to scene and keeps one guessing as to the what led up to the opening moments of the film. If you don't like movies that depend on dialog skip this one. It's a fun story and I was entertained throughout. There are some deeper elements to the plot; look for them. The acting was above average to my untrained eye. The directing and editing was well done and the cinematography/lighting were excellent. The audio mixing was clear, and the score a subtle character. I gave the film an 8/10 as it was thoroughly enjoyable and above an average(good) 7.

Actually, the characters and actors, minus the lead, all make the film work a lot better than it would have. The lead, however, Sackhoff, just doesn't fit. She looks like a mom 10 years older than the characters who are supposed to be at or near the same age. I guess this is a case study in how a single important character miscast can leave a film being little more than olives and alcohol.Besides being a psychotic-lite drama with a little humor thanks largely to the actors, it also taps into, with better than average insight, common early-to-mid life crisis issues along with sexual abuse issues. Had it not decided to also be a War on Drugs propaganda film, I might even call it smart. Maybe when the writer learns Cobain carried Nirvana, he'll have enough smarts to put together genius films like Matt Damon has done.
