This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

I went for a nice ride on this film, the vehicles suspension wasn't to stiff, it handled very well, I wasn't required to be sophisticated to understand it's workings; yet it retained the required mystery, many thanks to the engineers for not adding a surplus of bells and whistles, sometimes less really is more with the exception of Jennifer Westfeldt that is. I would have enjoyed a lot more of her. However here my judgment might be clouded, as I think she would be fascinating just reading the phone book.I enjoyed a friends advice to pay close attention, as the plot had some detail that could easily be missed. I took the recommendation and gave the film the attention it deserves.Bellows,Raver and kane delivered their craft well and Raver was convincingly scary as the heartless wife. I may have rated it to high but it was refreshing not to see unnecessary violence in a decent thriller and of course then there is the Wesfeldt factor.Wow!

Outstanding film, definitely one of my favorites this year. Great plot and holds the audience in suspense from the moment the film begins right through the end. Here's what I really liked: Pollard manages to keep no less than 5 characters and multiple subplots in play throughout the movie and then deftly converges the characters and the sub plots in the final scene. It's very rare that a movie can do this without either confusing or distracting the viewer from the main plot. Pollard addresses any potential character or plot confusion by painstakingly developing the characters personas early in the movie, both through their words and their actions, so that each one has his or her own distinctive and necessary role. Parallel plot development is difficult, but Pollard makes it look easy.I also really liked the scenery. Like the characters, Pollard expends enormous effort creating the perfect "backdrop" for each scene, be it a burgeoning romance, a lascivious affair, or a jealous confrontation. Most indie films you see will not have this kind of attention to detail, simply because these film makers don't have "Lucasfilm" budgets. This film, however, provides the Hollywood sets which one is accustomed to seeing in major motion pictures. Finally, I really liked the story. I must confess that, when I first heard about the movie, I was skeptical about seeing yet another nice-guy-wins-the-girl film; this movie, however, is different. The story has so many twists and turns that I (and I suspect most of the audience) had several different theories about how the film was going to end. As it turns out, none of my theories were correct.Great work. Can't wait to see Pollard's next film.

I loved this movie! I thought the plot was suspenseful and exciting. I would recommend this film if you are in the mood for a suspense flick. I especially liked how Pollard developed the characters. From the beginning you are taken through a story about trust. You watch as David Daley, the main character figures out who he can and can't trust. As his life begins to unravel Daley must make choices that will change his life. The film also develops other relationships what build on trust...or the lack of it. I believe anyone, regardless of age or gender, will enjoy this movie. I felt honored to attend the showing at Georgetown University.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by this recently released independent from Stu Pollard. Strong acting across the board, featuring charismatic performances from Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein) and Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal). Not quite a thriller, not quite a romance, but close enough to both you won't be going to the fridge until it's over. Beautiful cinematography gives genuine personality to Louisville and its environs. Every aspect of this film shows Pollard knows what he's up to, in spades. A plot hole or two may leave you with a couple of questions at the end. So watch it again. When all is said and done, the story rolls along briskly and you'll be glad you went for the ride. Deserves to be seen. A sterling sophomore effort.
