So much average

best movie i've ever seen.

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

Scream 4 almost reaches the greatness of the first Scream movie. This time it takes on reboots and remakes of horror movie, which are ripe for satire, but it still just feels unoriginal. There were a few fun twists and surprises, but, for the most part, it's just another slasher movie.

It's overall a decent movie throughout, but the stupid killer Jill ends up being portrayed as a goddamn hero because she set up a bunch of murders she committed to look like she was a victim too. And even by the end of the movie she's sfill viewed as a hero. The last 5 minutes of this flick ruined the entire thing for me. Stick to good horror.

Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer. Scream 4 is once more directed by Wes Craven and stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Emma Roberts and honestly i gotta say this is easily the best one next to the original they basically almost "killed" Sidney and Gale the killer is once more 2 people and it's one big twist that i absolutely loved, there's even more gore but there's also a lot of clever humor and it's just a tone of fun sequel also this film unlike the previous 3 entries it starts with again a murder inside a house but instead of the real world it happens inside a movie which is inside another film which is inside another film and it was pretty weird but it totally worked for me it basically took 12 years for another Scream film and damn it doesn't disappoint not even for a bit. I always wanted to see another one a Scream 5 or even a 6 but since Wes Craven passed away i beg Hollywood not to go on with this just look what they did to Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street every sequel after Halloween 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and New Nghtmare was awful including 2 it self if you want to make another sequel bring back the original cast and find a director who knows how to make a proper sequel for example James Wan but anyways Scre4m is a must see!!

Wes Craven came back to deliver a fine sequel more before his passing.Scream 4 rests on the fact that horror films never know when to say stop becoming over the top and ridiculous. The opening montage plays on that by showing characters either participating or watching stab films go through time travel, curses and even the deaths of major characters.I like the setting returning to woodsborro for the tenth anniversary of the original murders. This time focusing on her cousin Kill who is The target or so it seems. I guess after three tries on Sidney your out.The characters are more interesting, complex and beautiful. Its Hollywood after all.The tongue in check references worked her by recreating many of the same scenes and dialogue that made is Love the first. The slow response time for help was an in joke itself and had me in years.A few scenes caught my interest by upping the danger for all those involved. Marney's horrific stabbing across the street while her friend's look on and the stab a thon where Gale nearly meets her end. I was on the edge of my seat thinking this was it. While the villain may be disappointing at first it quickly changes to convincing you how insanity comes in all forms. It even was to say up the villain living and starting a whole new trilogy with a new caste to explore. Unfortunately, when Wes died so did the franchise.Rest in piece scream. Three out of four good installments ain't bad.
