I love this movie so much

Absolutely Fantastic

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

And let the puns commence!Seriously, this had the makings of a very funny film. Aubrey Plaza (so great in "Safety Not Guaranteed") and the rest? Girl power going for the crotch and all that.It might have been a funnier script, but the director didn't trust the material. It seemed like every gag (so to speak) was forced, and every punch line was like being beaten over the head with a pig's bladder.Some of the best comedy happens in the viewer's own imagination, but rather than allow for some subtlety and let us create the final image or reaction for ourselves, the director zoomed in on the mugging faces of the actors, just in case we didn't realize this was a FUNNY MOMENT.Too bad. You want some great comedy that still has a lot of heart, check out "Safety Not Guaranteed." This one you can give a pass.

I wanted to like this movie, but it was so boring. The title sequence was great and I thought that this might be a raunchier version of Adventureland, but like I said it was just boring. The dialog was flat, the acting was uninspired, and the story was predictable. This movie wanted to be Fast Times or Dazed and Confused, but it just came off as pretentious. It just seemed like this movie was trying way too hard to be edgy. There were a couple of laughs, but I ended up just wanting the movie to be over quickly. Truth be told, it took me two tries to finish it because it just didn't hold my attention.I don't have much to say about this movie except that once the shock factor wears off, it's just a below average teen sex farce. This was a waste of lots of talented actors. My advice, skip it!

I honestly don't understand people on here. If you read the synopsis, you know what type of movie you are about to see (and the fact that it's rated R). In all fairness, this movie is well scripted, directed, and acted. I thought there were several great performances and some HILARIOUS scenes! I mean I can see if you're like really pessimistic about everything and don't enjoy raunchy comedy, but you hopefully knew what you were getting before you sat down and watched this. Aubrey Plaza really knocks it out of the park with her dry humor and satirical comedy style. I LOVE her on Parks and Rec and I love her in this movie! It's just a good, funny, teenish movie you can sit down on a Friday night and enjoy. There's really just not a lot to hate about it.

This movie is wonderful. I was laughing a lot and impressed with how well the acting was. As for the writing, eerily realistic and engaging. The cameos from Andy Samburg, Fogel, and Derrick Comedy are excellent. So what's the plot?Aubrey Plaza plays a popular teen who is insecure and nerdy. She is craving sex and thinks up an idea to experience more by listing her objectives. Working as a lifeguard for the summer, she comes across some quirky yet likable characters like her alcoholic boss and a hunky muscular guy. Things begin to get complicated with her love life and her two awesome friends. Will our hero get lucky or go cold turkey in bed? Give it a watch to find out.For a low budget romantic teen comedy, it works on every level. It's not masterpiece or anything, but it does capture the essence of what it was like to be a teenager and the memories made over that special summer!
