It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

I was never a fan of those bad CGI effects they always use in the SciFi movies and did not know is was them who made this movie. so now it makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up Marchus, it was pretty damn bad. The lead GI and the girl in distress were awful actors, I expect they never did any acting before but were cheap. But I do agree the lead Evil German officer did a great job, I even watched the making of the movie and honestly they should just have made it all with him. Solid actor who seem to work over hard to carry this film. Fighting his way up stream against the bad CGI was an impossibly task for Struckmann. Give him something in a bigger role in bigger films and leave the rest as extras.

World War II movies are reappearing and I am all for that. It is important that we not forget the sacrifices made by our brave men and woman during this horrible war. We are loosing them all to time and it is fitting that we honor them before they all leave us. However, there is a point where a tribute becomes a farce and this film demonstrated how to cross that line. The acting reminded me of a thrown-together High School play. The plot was ridiculous. The dialogue poorly written (and I am being kind saying that). There was nothing that spoke to me. I was hoping for an action filled war story and instead I got a disappointing waste of time that was full of itself. Also having the Germans speaking accent-less American only further detracted from any realism that costumes may have tried to create.I further resent the attempt to capitalize on the Brad Pitt film (FURY), by putting this word in the title as an attempt to trick people into viewing this film, but after 5 minutes even an neophyte would realize this was not made by professionals.The film school student that did this as a project should find another profession.

Don't even try to compare this or put in the same league as Brad Pitts "Fury". Obviously that is what the producers (Asylum) are in for and what they are cashing in. For people to confuse those two and accidentally pick theirs (or on purpose, believe it or not, there are fans out there). Whatever the case, I've seen worse movies than this, even if the "acting" is not there at times.Still the production values are only half bad and while I wouldn't suggest you waste time watching this, unless you do like low budget movies a lot of course. The story does not make a lot of sense and the "romance" that is ensuing is cringe-worthy ... the action is decent for the budget this one uses though (not good by any means, but in relation to the budget)

I was expecting the worst, but it turned out to be a pretty good movie. I see some complaining about the special effects, but I thought they were not bad at all. I am student of story writing and this story had a lot of good elements that made it worth watching. I further like the idea that it wasn't big budget Hollywood and still was able to put together a good show. A story about a group of soldiers who stand together against the odds is what makes classic war story. I also like the fact the actors are relatively unknowns and they turned in good performances. If your a lover of war flicks than give this a try.
