Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

This film tells the story of five people who agree to spend six months in a house in the middle of nowhere, in return they will get one million dollars. The catch is that no one will get paid if anyone leaves the house.I confess that I only watched "My Little Eye" only for Bradley Cooper. I expected it to be a terrible film, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The plot is captivating and thrilling, because the characters and the viewers don't know what is truly happening. Hence, I have no idea how the film will end. Every twist is a surprise, and keeps me guessing what is really happening! When the truth is revealed an hour into the film, I am completely captivated by the plot, and I can hardly catch my breath. I enjoyed watching it a lot!

This was kind of re-watch, I saw this movies on TV years ago, I stay up watching, I didn't remember much from it, I know that fell sleep in some places. I saw this DVD in shop for 75p, so what the hell, So gave it another shot, I was hoping I would not fall a sleep, which very hard not too.As movie was far to mess, from annoying, unlikable people in the movie, you could not care less. I found this movie drag for to long, with nothing really happen in this movie for first hour! Then when things start to happen, they were kind of bland, the acting was very weak from most of the cast. I just found the whole movie really messy!2 out of 10

Five young people apply to live in an isolated house together for six months whilst their every move is filmed by numerous cameras. Each has their reason for wanting to be there -- fame, money, adventure.Even since "Blair Witch", we have had this stream of films with found footage, hidden cameras, and that awful night vision. I am not a fan of it, but I guess others are because it still persists today (2013) with endless "Paranormal Activity" sequels. Some of this film has it and some is just shot normally. Had there been more hidden camera than there was, I would rate it even lower. My reason for watching this was seeing Bradley Cooper in the cast list. His role is relatively minor -- he is not one of the five young people. If you are a big fan of his, check this out... but otherwise, no need. He is not even on screen enough to say if he did a good job or not and the rest of the film is average at best.

I have been a fan of this movie for many years now, and it's the first I've seen that uses the reality TV angle in a slasher movie, although not a fresh idea anymore but at the time it was. The story line which I found was pretty solid and creates mood and tension the entire way through. The house was genuinely creepy which makes the perfect setting and the snowy outside was eerie as well.Okay this movie may take a while to kick off, but it still kept me interested with the surprise twists and turns and the interesting cast when they interact with each other kept me hooked the entire way through. But there are a few small flaws like some the gaping plot holes and some things that didn't quite make sense and why would anyone in their right mind stay in a house in the middle of nowhere for 6 months, for something that would be obviously fake. But other than that this movie still packs a punch especially when the true intentions are revealed at the end and comes fast and thick and the creative camera angles and split screens was used to good effect.Laura Regan was spot on as the obvious final girl, and found her likable and believable while displaying her moods and emotions. Sean Johnson was unfortunately the more underplayed and underused cast members in this movie, but he did a pretty okay job. Jennifer Sky was simply stunning and fun and can act as well, which is always a bonus. Stephen O'Reily gave a credible performance as the unofficial leader of the group, he quickly becomes more interesting as the movie goes on and Kris Lemche as the rebel of the group acted really well as the unlikeable and selfish member of the group. All in all "My Little Eye" is an interesting addition to the horror genre that fully kicks in and becomes really brutal towards the end, with some awesome kills and a cool creepy house.
